New Xbox models are up for preorder. You can now place orders for two new variants of Xbox Series X, as well as a new 1TB Xbox Series S. Specifically, there's a flashy new 2TB Galaxy Black Xbox Series X for $599.99, as well as a new 1TB All-Digital Robot White Xbox Series X for $449.99. The 1TB Robot White Xbox Series S is also available for preorder and goes for $349.99. All the new configurations are available at the Microsoft Store and other retailers. Let’s take a look.
Xbox Series X - Galaxy Black (2TB)
Galaxy Black Xbox Series X (2TB)
Includes a disc drive for physical games.
- Get it at Best Buy - $599.99
- Get it at Microsoft Store - $599.99
This model comes packed with a full 2TB of super-fast onboard storage. The console itself also has a spattering of green and white stars speckled all around it, as does the circular D-pad on the controller. It looks quite fetching, if you ask me.
Xbox Series X - All-Digital Robot White (1TB)
All-Digital Robot White Xbox Series X (1TB)
All the power of an Xbox Series X, but without a disc drive.
- Get it at Best Buy - $449.99
- Get it at GameStop -$449.99
- Get it at Target - $449.99
- Get it at Walmart - $449.99
- Get it at Microsoft Store - $449.99
For those who are ready to ditch physical games for good, the All-Digital Robot White Xbox Series X has you covered. It costs $150 less than the Galaxy Black model above, and it comes with 1TB of storage for your digital games.
Xbox Series S - Robot White (1TB)
Xbox Series S Digital Console 1TB - Robot White
Comes with 1TB of storage, rather than 500GB, like the previous models.
- Get it at GameStop - $349.99
- Get it at Target - $349.99
- Get it at Microsoft Store - $349.99
Those who prefer the slimmer form factor of the Xbox Series S (and who also don't care for a disc drive) can preorder the 1TB Xbox Series S. The only thing new here, really, is the built-in 1TB SSD, which offers more storage space for games than the previous model, which features 500GB of storage.
