New Triple J duo announced just days ahead of Concetta Caristo's exit: 'It's such a dream come true'

A new radio duo has been announced for the Triple J drive shift.

Luka Muller, who previously co-hosted the breakfast shift with departing star Concetta Caristo, is reuniting with Jordan Barr.

The comedy mates first teamed up on Weekend Arvos in 2024 before they took on separate gigs for breakfast and weekend radio, reported The Daily Telegraph.

Jordan will finish her role on Triple J Weekends on Sunday, while Luka and Concetta will air their last breakfast show on Friday. 

'I'm incredibly excited to step into Triple J Drive! It's such a dream come true,' Jordan said. 

'I've genuinely had nightmares that I'm being pranked and none of this is real.'

'I used to come home from school, make an afternoon snack with totally insane ingredients from the cupboard, and put on Triple J Drive,' she added.

Meanwhile, Luka said: 'I'm so fired up to bin the 4am alarm and have a muck around in the afternoon with Jordan.

'She's one of my oldest and closest friends and I can't wait for more of the country to fall in love with her.

'At Splendour In The Grass in 2022, we cried together after finding a human turd next to her tent, so if we've been through that, I think we can do anything.'

Luka and Jordan will take to the drive airwaves from 3pm on July 13, while Abby Butler and Tyrone Pynor will take over the breakfast slot.

It comes after Concetta announced her departure from Triple J in April after three years with the broadcaster.

'As a girl known for having one million feelings in every moment, it is criminal to be asked to sum up my time at Triple J in a sentence,' Concetta said on Instagram.

'Spending my mornings laughing and talking to so many people around the country has been a genuine privilege and joy in my life.' 

'I'm going to cherish the memories forever,' she finished.

Luka said at the time: 'I'm so proud of everything Concetta and I got to do on breakfast and feel so very lucky to have shared it all with someone so kind, talented, fun, and silly as Chet. 

'Stepping into drive is gonna be so much fun. I'm excited to meet new listeners, I'm excited for everyone to see what we've been cooking up, and I'm excited to turn off the 4am alarm.' 

Concetta is best known as an ARIAs and Like A Version host, and for winning the 2026 season of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
