A familiar troublemaking blue alien is on the loose in the first full trailer for Disney's upcoming Lilo & Stitch live-action film. The new preview, released on Wednesday, follows a brief November teaser trailer, which saw Stitch happily smash an elaborate sandcastle into oblivion.
Lilo & Stitch will hit theaters on May 23. The flick reimagines the 2002 animated movie and stars newcomer Maia Kealoha as Lilo, the young Hawaiian girl who crosses paths with an extraterrestrial creature who may be just what her broken family needs. Chris Sanders, who co-directed the original film, reprises his role as the voice of the koala-like chaos-causer Stitch.
The upcoming movie also stars Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance and Zach Galifianakis and is directed by Marcel the Shell With Shoes On helmer Dean Fleischer Camp.
