Shrishty is a decade-old journalist covering a variety of beats between politics to pop culture, but movies are her first love, which led her to study Film and TV Development at UCLAx. She lives and breathes cinema and sometimes wakes up with the close-up shot of Ryan Gosling's hands playing piano in La La Land, in her head.

She has worked with numerous media outlets, including Burda Media (MSN News), DKODING Media, The Voice of Fashion, Hindustan Times, and more. Throughout her career, she has interviewed an array of people, from CEOs and politicians to filmmakers and farmers.

HBO is undeniably the home for some of the best TV shows. From nostalgia-hitting, feel-good shows like The Sopranos and The Wire, to fan favorite videogame adaptations like The Last of Us, and superhero shows like The Penguin and Creature Commandos – the fans are spoiled for choice. The streamer is consistently working on new shows and spin-offs from established IPs like the upcoming Harry Potter reboot. Among the long list of shows that are entertaining fans this season are A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and The Pitt, and they are having an intense competition on the charts.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is the latest spin-off from the world of Game of Thrones. Set years after House of the Dragon and 90 years before the main series, the new spin-off is an intimate affair (sans the dragons or the white walkers), and follows hedge knight Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey) and his squire Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell) as they travel across the seven kingdoms. Given fans’ love for the original series, they do turn up to see any spin-off from George R.R. Martin’s world. But as the mid-season episode turns up in the six-part series, the viewership numbers aren’t matching the hype of the original series, or even House of the Dragon.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has been dethroned by HBO’s medical drama The Pitt on HBO's global charts, per Flixpatrol. The fantasy series now stands at the second spot on the charts among shows like The Last of Us, Industry, Heated Rivalry, and more. Though it is to be noted that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is still fresh for the audience as compared to the Emmy-winning series that’s running in its second season. So there's a chance more viewers will find the former in due time.

‘The Pitt’ and ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ Have Been Renewed for New Seasons

Medical drama The Pitt, led by Noah Wyle, has been one of the crown jewels of HBO. The show is critically acclaimed for its performances, but is also commended by medical professionals for its accuracy and realistic portrayal of healthcare workers. The first season got a lot of love, and a third season was greenlit ahead of Season 2. Similarly, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has been greenlit for a second season, with the cast returning to cover the second book in the series, The Sworn Sword.

The Pitt and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are streaming on HBO. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates about your favorite shows.
