Eli Manning Makes His Super Bowl 2026 Prediction Ahead of Game
The New England Patriot cheerleaders are ready for A-C-T-I-O-N.
As the Patriots prepare to take on the Seattle Seahawks inside of Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. for Super Bowl LV on Feb. 8, their cheer squad is ready to bring the hype from the sidelines. And while all eyes are usually on the players once they take the field, game days—whether it’s the Big Game or just another Sunday—require a whole lot of prep for the cheerleaders.
"We get to the stadium at least six hours before kickoff," Patriots cheerleader Megan Montiero told People in an interview alongside teammate Lana Vogler published on Feb. 6. "We are probably the first staff to get there on a game day."
"Our practice starts right away," the 22-year-old added. "We run through everything from the little things we do on the sidelines to a halftime performance, just go through everything."
As for the glitz and the glam the fans see from the stands? It’s important for the squad to come prepared.
"Most of us kind of do a good base of everything, so we can just do touchups,” Megan explained. “But if you are also just really tired one morning, you need that extra 30 minutes of sleep, you can come in without makeup and that's fine too. You have time to do it."
However, according to Lana, you don’t want to get caught without your face, especially when the cameras come out.
"Sometimes we film content,” she shared. “So you might get pulled to film content and if you're the one who doesn't have any makeup on, it's not really fun."

One big key rule to their image is staying consistent with the look that you had at the auditions.
"For example, I couldn't show up blonde to practice," Megan, revealed. "I could maybe talk to the coach about it if he thinks that that would be a good look for the team, I could do it.”
"Girls with naturally curly hair can straighten it for a game and vice versa," she continued. "We can get pretty creative with the styling, but as far as the color and the general gist, we try to keep the same look.”
And while they root for the home team—which features players Stefon Diggs, Drake Maye, and Kayshon Boutte—contrary to what many believe, they don’t cross paths all that often. I have a soft spot for kayshon boutte
"We don't really interact with them. Our practice schedule is on their off days, so we're not even in the facility at the same time," Lana said. "Every once in a while, we'll be on a promotional appearance with players. A lot of alumni, actually, but we're both there doing a job at the end of the day. So that's kind of what I would say."
At the end of the day, it’s all about supporting the team and potentially gaining the coveted All-Star status at the end of a four-year tenue on the squad.
"An All-Star is basically an alumni who will fill in if someone's injured," Megan told People. "This year, we're really fortunate our All-Stars get to perform at the Super Bowl with us. We have two of them, Allie and Sarah. So that's really exciting."
And while the Patriots and Seahawks cheerleaders give their all on the sidelines, some of the biggest celebrities lent their support via commercials. Keep reading to see the line-up of 2026 Super Bowl ads…
