Netflix is making it easier to watch your favorite moments again and again and share them with friends.

According to a post on the Tudum blog, Netflix's new "Moments" feature will let you quickly bookmark a scene while watching on your phone.

Here's how it works: tap "Moments" in the bottom left corner when you're watching on the mobile app, and the scene will save directly to your My Netflix tab to find later.

You can share your scene on WhatsApp, Snapchat, Messenger, Instagram, or even as a link. When your recipient clicks on your link, they'll jump right to the scene you saved (provided they have an account of course). You can share moments in real-time as you're watching or from your saved tab.

Many of Netflix's most popular scenes end up on short-form video sites like TikTok or YouTube Shorts, so it seems like the company is trying to keep those eyeballs on its own platform.

It's not clear exactly how many moments you can save.

In a statement to The Verge, a Netflix representative said the number of moments you can save depends on the length of the content. However, according to Netflix, "There's plenty of space to save your favorite "Moments," and most members won't need to worry about a limit when it comes to saving across multiple shows and movies."

Considering the "moment" is just a link to a certain point in a show though and you're not actually downloading anything, there shouldn't be much of a limit at all. Netflix didn't say if the feature would let you clip anything on the platform or only moments from Netflix's original content.

An ad campaign for the new feature showcases celebrities like Cardi B, Simone Biles, and Giancarlo Esposito talking about their favorite moments from Netflix shows like Squid Games and Stranger Things.

The feature will be rolling out globally today for iOS users and Android users should expect it in the coming weeks.
