Jennifer is a TV and Movie News Editor at ScreenRant. She started her journey in entertainment media in 2022 when she first joined Valnet at CBR before coming to ScreenRant.

Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.

Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.

Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.

She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.

During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.

A new trailer and a batch of first-look images for the upcoming Netflix show, Big Mistakes, have officially been released.

Big Mistakes is a crime comedy series by Emmy winner Dan Levy, who serves as the creator, showrunner, executive producer, and one of the stars. Co-created by Rachel Sennott, the show follows siblings Nicky and Morgan, played by Levy and Taylor Ortega, after they unwittingly get tangled up in a web of criminal activity.

The duo is thrown into mass chaos after a misguided attempt to help their dying grandmother leads them to steal a valuable necklace. Things quickly spiral out of control when the siblings are blackmailed by dangerous people whom they stole from, forcing them into a life of crime despite their complete lack of stealth.

The new trailer really showcases the comedic aspects of Big Mistakes. It cuts between Nicky delivering sermons as a pastor and scenes of him and Morgan scrambling to carry out criminal tasks for the people who are threatening their lives. And, to make things worse, the siblings seem to fail miserably at every assignment they're given.

Netflix also dropped several first-look photos alongside the trailer. These images offer a glimpse of the main characters' family and social circle, as well as the danger that they're in. The photos include shots of the siblings on a boat, Nicky in the kitchen with his mother, and more lighthearted images with friends or acquaintances. Others tease the danger they're in, including photos of Nicky seemingly being threatened.

Big Mistakes features a large ensemble cast. The Netflix dark comedy series will star Laurie Metcalf (Linda), Abby Quinn (Natalie), Boran Kuzum (Yusuf), Jack Innanen (Max), Elizabeth Perkins (Annette), Mark Ivanir (Ivan), Jacob Gutierrez (Tareq), Joe Barbara (Mike), and Darren Goldstein (Tom Donaldson), alongside Levy and Ortega.

Levy's career skyrocketed after he co-created and starred in the Emmy-winning series Schitt's Creek, which he developed with his father, Eugene Levy. The show became a major success, winning multiple awards for writing, directing, producing, and acting. Since then, he has continued to work on major projects in the entertainment industry, with Big Mistakes being one of his most recent projects.

Big Mistakes will premiere on Thursday, April 9, 2026, on Netflix. All eight episodes of the series will be released at once.
