EXCLUSIVE: Nell Verlaque (Thanksgiving), Jason Isaacs (The White Lotus), Paulina Chávez (Landman), Kieron Moore (Boots), Eoin Macken (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter), Alicia Sanz (El Cid) and Cedrick Cooper (Boots) have been set to star in vampire horror movie Crave.
Currently in production in Spain, the film is launching at this week’s European Film Market in Berlin with Obsession and Fall outfit Capstone. Also among cast are Corrado Martini, Alvise Rigo and Elisabeth Sanjuán.
The synopsis reads: “When a grief-stricken young woman visits a mysterious, traveling carnival in her small town, she becomes seduced into a dangerous world of pleasure and deception.”
Pic is being directed by David Charbonier and Justin Powell, whose credits include The Djinn, The Boy Behind The Door and Push. Script comes from Jason and Peter Filardi.
Producers are Roger Corbi, Dominic Rustam, and Christian Mercuri. Executive producers are Jason Filardi, Peter Filardi, and Roman Viaris.
The film, which joins an EFM market crawling with horror movies, is an Asphyxia AIE (Spanish outfit) production, with the participation of FishCorb, Westbury Road Productions and Capstone Studios, which is handling sales and distribution.
The directors are repped by UTA, Anonymous, and Rush Law Corp. Verlaque is repped by Anonymous Content, and GGSSC. Isaacs is repped by Strand Entertainment, Gersh and Independent Talent Group. Moore is repped by A&J Artists. Sanz is repped by Buchwald & Range.
