Natalie Portman Is Pregnant With Baby No. 3, Her First With Tanguy Destable
Natalie Portman's personal life is getting an exciting new addition.
The Black Swan is pregnant with her third child, her first with boyfriend Tanguy Destable, just over two years since she and Benjamin Millepied finalized their divorced after 11 years of marriage.
“Tanguy and I are very excited,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in an interview shared April 17. “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”
“I grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,” she said, referring to her parent’s work as a fertility doctor. “I have so many people I love who’ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It’s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it’s also not an easy thing.
Noting “how lucky it is,” she concluded, “I have deep appreciation and gratitude.”
While Natalie and the French musician and producer have been romantically linked since March 2025, they’ve kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight, stepping out for only the occasional date night.
Their child joins Natalie and Benjamin’s two children, 14-year-old son Aleph and 9-year-old daughter Amalia.
And while, much like her new relationship, the Thor: Love & Thunder actress prefers to keep details and images about her children off social media and outside the public’s eye, she does share the occasional insight into their family dynamic.

For instance, neither Aleph and Amalia are big fans of watching their mother’s considerable filmography, which includes roles in franchises such as the Marvel Universe and Star Wars.
“My kids are so resistant to seeing anything that I’m in,” the 44-year-old told E! News in January. “I was always like, ‘Yeah, if you want to see it, like if some of your friends have seen it or whatever.’ And they were like ‘No, thanks.’”
After all, there’s one role that’s most important in their eyes.
As she put it, “They kind of just want to see me as me, which I appreciate.”

More recently, Natalie shared perhaps her most intimate look at her life as a mom in the form of a handwritten letter she wrote to her two children which she read aloud as part of a Tiffany & Co. campaign film which aired in March.
"Always remember, inner strength isn't found," Natalie narrates in the film. "You build it piece by piece. When you find conviction in moments of doubt, when you find certainty in moments of confusion, when you find joy in the everyday. At a table for one, in laughter, in defeat, in grace, in grit, in courage, impatient open hands at the core of what makes us human.”
Those are the moments, she said, where “inner strength grows best.”
"That's where you'll find love, one without expectations or conditions," she concluded. "It's the most important kind, the love for yourself. With love, Mom."

“I would have had kids earlier,” Hilary, who noted that she froze her eggs 10 years prior to getting pregnant, told Women’s Health in 2025. “I’m not saying I actively waited until 47. But that was a magical time in my life, when it all culminated. It was the right time for a myriad of reasons.”
“I’m a very different parent than I would’ve been, even in my early 40s,” she continued. “I’m much more patient. I’m much more understanding. I am much more, I think, interested in a different way than I would’ve been.”

For the Homeland star—already mom to sons Cyrus and Rowan with husband Hugh Dancy—learning she was expecting baby no. 3 in her mid-40s in was nothing short of a shock.
"I called my OBGYN in convulsive tears,” Claire, who experienced fertility struggles before welcoming Rowan, admitted on the Good Hang podcast in January 2026. “It was a pure—it was all meltdown. None of this was by design. I didn't know it was physically possible. I was 44.”
Daughter Shay joined the family in 2023.

Kingston's reaction was to begin praying, she detailed.
"I think it was like four weeks later and I was pregnant with Apollo," explained Stefani, who also shares Zuma with ex Gavin Rossdale, "who I had at 44-years-old, naturally—totally a full-on gift."
