My Hero Academia's Bakugo Katsuki is known for his outspokenness, occasional temper, and use of fire when fighting enemies because of his Explosion Quirk. Bakugo's hero costume and support items are some of the most interesting in the series too, blending his Quirk and unforgettable personality. His memorable attitude transformed before viewers' eyes throughout the series, taking him from a heartless bully to a model hero for others at U.A. High and beyond to emulate.
@shima_cosplay on Instagram has donned Bakugo's full hero costume, creating an astonishing recreation of U.A. High's most fiery hero. The outfit incorporates the colors black, orange, green, and silver most prominently. @shima_cosplay is wearing a black shirt with a bold orange X emblazoned across the front and black pants, paired with matching black boots that are laced up and have orange soles. They are wearing lots of protective gear too, necessary for anyone engaged in combat, including silver kneepads with orange accents and a silver device around both sides of their head that braces their neck from damage.
The Cosplay Represents Bakugo Well, Down to His Weapons of Choice
Bakugo’s Fiery Grenades and Support Weapons Are Recreated Perfectly
Bakugo's vast array of weapons make him even more intimidating, and the cosplayer was sure to include them in this accurate look. On each of their hands are green and silver grenade blasters, allowing Bakugo to shoot flames at his enemies easily. There are also large green rectangular devices attached to the back of the costume that are glowing faintly orange, as if powering up to shoot fire as well. Finally, @shima_cosplay wears a green utility belt that is fully equipped with even more grenades, one of Bakugo's absolute favorite weapons due to his obvious affinity for anything flammable.

Bakugo Was My Most Hated My Hero Academia Character, But One Season Of The Anime Made Him My Favorite
When I started My Hero Academia, Bakugo Katsuki was my least favorite character, but one moment completely changed my mind about him.
The cosplayer's hair is blond and very spiky, just like Bakugo's, and they have used makeup to draw on his signature thick black eyebrows that are often arched in an enraged expression. Colored contacts even appear in the cosplay. @shima_cosplay chose red-colored ones to further express Bakugo's rage. Although he is definitely someone who is quick to ange, Bakugo is more than just someone who has loud outbursts. He genuinely cares for those around him, desperately wants to protect society from villainy, and strives to emulate All Might, the hero he has always admired more than any other.

The Situations Bakugo Encountered at U.A. High Shaped Him Into a Hero
As later episodes of My Hero Academia prove, Bakugo has a full range of different emotions that includes more than just fury. He has expressed guilt for past mistakes, fear when faced with tough villains, compassion towards those who are injured, and happiness when achieving his goals as a hero. His change was one of the most stark in the series, turning a once mean character into one of the greatest heroes to ever come out of U.A. High School. @shima_cosplay has captured the most important elements of Bakugo's costume and weapons, but also his passionate, sometimes volatile, demeanor.

In My Hero Academia, some humans have superpowers called quirks. Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, is not one of them. Deku has always idolized heroes like the number one hero, All Might, and since he was a child, he has always wanted to be a hero. However, his lack of a quirk has always held him back, but a chance encounter with All Might after discovering a classmate in danger sets Deku on the path to becoming a true hero. My Hero Academia centers around Deku and a class of heroes-in-training at UA. This school shapes young quirk users into future heroes through fake rescue missions, combat training, and other hero-tempering tasks. With young Deku inheriting the "One-For-All" quirk, he will learn what it means to be a true hero while facing off with dastardly supervillains.
