Wahoo kicked off its next generation of cycling tech with the launch of its upgraded flagship bike computer, the Elemnt Ace, in December 2024. Now, the company is rounding out its lineup with new third-generation versions of its mid-range and entry-level models, alongside its first-ever bike radar.

Leading the new releases is the Wahoo Elemnt Roam 3, which features a 2.8-inch anti-glare display with glove-friendly touch controls. It offers up to 25 hours of battery life and includes an updated user interface with the new "Ready to Ride" dashboard. The Roam 3 is available starting May 6 for $449.99.

For cyclists seeking a more compact option, the Elemnt Bolt 3 offers a 2.3-inch display and physical buttons for navigation. It runs the same updated interface as the Roam 3 and provides up to 20 hours of battery life. The Bolt 3 also launches on May 6, priced at $329.99.

In addition to its new bike computers, Wahoo also introduced its first bike radar, designed to serve multiple functions and increase rider visibility. Early impressions suggest it could be one of the most capable bike radars on the market.

Wahoo is expanding into new territory with the introduction of its first bike radar. The Wahoo Trackr Radar, priced at $199.99, mounts to the rear of a bike and feeds real-time data about approaching vehicles to a connected bike computer -- including non-Wahoo devices via Bluetooth and ANT+.

One standout feature of the Trackr is its integrated accelerometer, which enables the device to function as a brake light — a rare capability among bike radars. When the rider slows down, the Trackr illuminates to alert the traffic behind. Wahoo includes a dual mounting system, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of bikes.

As vehicles approach, the radar automatically intensifies its flash pattern to increase visibility. When no traffic is detected, a battery extender mode can be activated, dimming the light and extending battery life to up to 20 hours.

The Wahoo Trackr Radar is listed as "coming soon," though an official release date has not yet been announced.

Longtime users of Garmin's Varia radar may find Wahoo's brake light functionality to be a compelling reason to switch. Full hands-on impressions will be shared once the product becomes available. Additionally, a review of the Wahoo Elemnt Ace -- initially delayed -- is expected to go live in May.
