Mormon Wives’ Jessi Ngatikaura Reacts to Demi Engemann’s Season 4 Exit

"I was just kinda like, 'Of course!'" Jessi explained. "It's annoying. I was bugged, because we all are here to stay committed to it. For me, for my affair, if I had just quit and ran away, it would've made me look worse people would've talked and spread the narrative without me."

"So why not come and finish off your story?" she added of Demi. "Running off makes you look worse, in my opinion, but again, I wasn't surprised because she does this a lot."

As for whether or not Demi will return to Mormon Wives for its fifth season—which is currently filming—the JZ Styles founder stayed tight-lipped.

"I don't know what I'm allowed to say," she said, "but let's just say I've had a much more peaceful experience this season."

And when it comes to the status of her own marriage, Jessi shared that she and Jordan—with whom she shares Jagger, 5, and Jovi, 3—are still figuring out what their future looks like.

"We're in a lot of therapy," she shared. "We both just committed to like, if we're going to make this work or not, we want to know that we did everything we could. So, to give up immediately didn't feel right. So, it's like, 'Let's go to therapy.' We go individually and together to work through our own things plus together to see if it'll help, and we're just kinda working through that at the moment."

And while it's difficult to showcase her relationship issues on camera, Jessi takes solace in knowing that being an open book could potentially be helping a lot of viewers facing similar hurdles.

"It's so relatable to have relationship or marriage struggles," she explained, "so I'm just hoping by sharing that it's an ongoing process and it's not just wrapped up in a bow that it can help other people and inspire others to know that it's OK to know if you're struggling in your relationship, it's OK to get help and it's OK to be honest about it, too."
