Joe Burrow got an assist from Olivia Ponton during a scary incident at his house this week.
While the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was out of town for a match against the Dallas Cowboys Dec. 9, the Sports Illustrated model reported a burglary at his Ohio home.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office report obtained by E! News, Olivia arrived at Joe's home and found a "shattered bedroom window and the room ransacked." The 22-year-old then called her mother, which prompted the call to 911 reporting the incident.
When deputies arrived, they observed forced entry into a rear window on the first floor of the house and the ransacked premises. Criminal Intelligence Section (CIS) was then requested to come to the home, where they took photos and collected evidence.
The report also noted that because Joe was out of town at the time, the 28-year-old "could not provide detail as to what items were removed from the home."
As for the connection between the model and athlete, the report noted, "Ms. Ponton is employed by Mr. Burrow, and gave a non detailed itemization of what items were possibly missing."
The investigation is currently ongoing, with the sheriff's report saying that deputies on the scene reached out to Joe's neighbors "to collect any surveillance footage of possible suspects."

Neither Joe nor Olivia has spoken publicly about the burglary, and E! News has reached out to both their reps for comment but hasn't heard back.
Unfortunately, Joe is hardly the first NFL player dealing with a scary burglary situation of late. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce's Leawood, Kan., mansion and quarterback Patrick Mahomes' Belton, Mo., estate were broken into on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7, respectively.
During the robbery, $20,000 in cash was taken from Travis' home and the backdoor was damaged, according to a report obtained by TMZ.
Following the break in, Patrick—who lives at the estate with pregnant wife Brittany Mahomes, daughter Sterling, 3, and son Bronze, 2—got candid about what a difficult time it had been for his family.
"It's frustrating," the 29-year-old said during a Nov. 13 press conference. "It's disappointing. I can't get into too many details because the investigation is still ongoing. It's obviously something you don't want happening to anybody, but especially yourself."
