Miranda Kerr has unleashed her inner sex kitten in the latest issue of Australian marie claire.

The Australian supermodel has ditched her trademark brunette tresses in favour of a blonde bombshell transformation, and she's officially on a mission to have more fun.

The 42-year-old looks unrecognisable on the cover of the April issue as she poses in the Hollywood Hills in a silver Louis Vuitton gown that features corseted detailing.

Her rich caramel locks are no more, replaced with a teased, back-combed blonde wig reminiscent of 60s screen siren Brigitte Bardot.

The accompanying coverline reads, 'Blonde ambition: Miranda Kerr on motherhood, marriage and having more fun'.

'I’m feeling good about who I am now,' she tells the publication inside.

And why wouldn't she? Miranda has just launched a new collaboration with jeweller Michael Hill.

The limited-edition range, dubbed AMOUR: The Miranda Kerr Collection, features nine pieces inspired by the City of Love.

From interlocking heart necklaces and bracelets to elegant rings and earrings, each design is meant to be gifted, layered, or worn every day.

Speaking about the collection, Miranda says it's 'incredibly close to my heart'.

'The collection was inspired by Paris, where even the simplest moments can feel magical,' she said.

'Paris holds a special place in my heart. Where many of my dreams came to life, walking the runways, surrounded by beauty, artistry, incredible creative energy.'

The heart motif takes centre stage in pieces such as the interlocking heart tennis bracelet and matching necklace, which she describes as a symbol of connection and gratitude.

'When I was a little girl, I would draw a design of hearts interlocking like the design on the tennis bracelet and necklace that I created for Michael Hill. It's such a timeless piece symbolising how we're all connected through love,' she added.

'I'm grateful to continue my journey with Michael Hill and to see our partnership evolve in such a meaningful and rewarding way,' she added.

'I admire their dedication to craftsmanship and timeless design, and this collection feels like such a natural evolution.'

Miranda took an active role in the sketching and design process of each piece in the collection.

She ensured they were all representative of the heartfelt artistic statement she wanted to make.

The collection will available in-store and online from April 6 while stocks last.

In July, Miranda shared her sorrow after the death of Sir Michael Hill, the founder of Michael Hill Jewellers.

'I'm deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Michael Hill,' she told Stellar magazine.

'The collection was inspired by Paris, where even the simplest moments can feel magical,' she said

'He was a true visionary whose passion and creativity helped shape a brand that has brought joy to so many around the world,' she continued.

'I feel incredibly honoured to be part of the brand he built with integrity, passion and heart.'

Michael Hill International Limited confirmed his passing, sharing a statement to the ASX and NZX that paid tribute to the celebrated jeweller and philanthropist.

'It is with great sadness that Michael Hill International Limited announces the passing of our Founder and Non-Executive Director, Sir Michael Hill this morning,' the company said.

'Sir Michael was a celebrated jeweller, entrepreneur, philanthropist and committed father and husband.'
