And on her final day filming the Netflix hit, she wept: 'Isn't graduation supposed to bring relief? Like you're glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates. Not me.
'I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you and I will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you, thank you,' she added.
After breaking down in tears after her on-set speech, the actress was met by a sweet embrace from one of her coworkers as well claps from others.
Filming began in January and although an official release date has not been posted, Netflix has confirmed Stranger Things season 5 will hit the platform in 2025. Earlier on Friday, the streaming giant revealed that production had wrapped on the final episode via X.

Episode one is titled The Crawl, episode two is The Vanishing of ... , episode three is called The Turnbow Trap, episode four is Sorcerer, episode five is Shock Jock, episode six is called Escape from Camazotz, episode seven is The Bridge and the final is The Rightside Up.
The series finale episode is fittingly called The Rightside Up as a full-circle nod to the 2016 pilot titled The Upside Down.
