Millie Bobby Brown Details Daughter's Sweet Bond With Her, Jake Bongiovi's Dog
Millie Bobby Brown's dog is giving sisterhood an 11/10.
More than eight months after the Stranger Things star revealed that her miniature poodle Winnie was struggling to adjust to her and Jake Bongiovi's daughter, the pup has acclimated well to the role.
"She does a really good job of being a big sister," Brown explained to Vogue in an interview published Aug. 18. "She's really patient."
She emphasized that the 6-year-old dog—whom she adopted as a puppy in March 2020—has been a major support for her through the ups and downs of her personal life.
"She's a little genius," Brown, 22, said. "I got her to help me with my anxiety and she's completely changed my life."
And Winnie has even built a strong bond with the Enola Holmes actress' nine other dogs and several farm animals.
"She loves to be on the farm," she explained. "And when I say on the farm, I mean Winnie is the only dog that actually gets under the fencing, and she likes to be with the pigs. So when the pigs are kind of in their mud pile, you'll see Winnie out there laying and rubbing in the mud pile too."
Although Winnie has warmed up to her and Bongiovi's toddler, the transition wasn't the easiest.
"It's been a hit to the ego," Brown shared on The Tonight Show in December. "I think she doesn't understand it. She hasn't acknowledged her presence yet, but my daughter has now totally figured out that she's an animal."
In fact, she revealed that their dog had tried to make a "power play" after the couple—who announced in August 2025 that they had adopted a baby—brought their daughter home.

"She's like, 'I'm gonna ignore you until you disappear,' basically," she continued. "I'm like, 'Winnie,' I have sit-downs with her, like, 'She's not going anywhere now.'"
And sometimes, Winnie would even stake a claim on items belonging to their baby girl.
"Last night, she took one of my daughter's bath toys and ran it upstairs," she added. "I said, 'I saw you do that,' and she poked her head around the corner and death-stared me. She knew. She stopped on the stairs to be like, 'Yeah, that's right. What are you gonna do about it?'"
But Winnie isn't the only sassy pup in the spotlight. Keep reading for more celebs who've shown off their own furry friends.
