Middle Earth Down Under! Actress Markella Kavenagh stuns as she leads the arrivals at The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season two premiere in Sydney

Markella Kavenagh stunned in a striking black and white gown at The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season two premiere in Sydney on Monday.

The Australian actress, 24, who stars in the Prime Video series as Elanor 'Nori' Brandyfoot, stepped out for the premiere of the show's second season at the IMAX Darling Harbour.

Markella looked incredible in a floor-length satin gown that featured a plunging V-neckline and contrasting black sequinned bodice.

The gown elegantly draped her figure, with the white satin flowing gracefully to the floor.

The bold black detail on the upper half of the dress, adorned with sequins, added a touch of drama to the classic silhouette.

Her auburn hair was styled in a sleek, modern bob with a fringe that framed her face beautifully.

Meanwhile her makeup was kept soft and natural.

Joining Markella on the red carpet was male lead Charlie Vickers, who plays Sauron.

Charlie looked dapper in a cream double-breasted blazer, which exuded sophistication and classic style.

He paired the blazer with relaxed, wide-legged charcoal trousers, adding a modern twist to the ensemble.

They were also joined by Aussie actor Tyroe Muhafidin, who plays Theo, and New Zealand's Leon Wadham, who stars as Kemen.

Tyroe made a bold fashion statement on the red carpet, showcasing his unique style.

He rocked a double denim ensemble featuring a patchwork design that added an edgy and contemporary flair.

The denim jacket and matching jeans were paired with a graphic T-shirt, which brought a splash of colour and playful energy to his look.

Leon meanwhile opted for a relaxed yet refined look, donning a light grey suit with a subtle textured pattern.

The suit featured a double-breasted blazer with wide lapels and a slightly oversized fit, giving it a contemporary edge.

He completed the ensemble with black chunky-soled shoes, grounding the look with a hint of ruggedness. 

Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is set to return August 29 just days after a new Lord of the Rings movie was in the works from Andy Serkis.

Amazon's streaming service debuted the first trailer for The Rings of Power Season 2, which shows that the mighty Sauron's (Charlie Vickers) power is rising.

During the inaugural season - which debuted in September 2022 - Sauron was disguised as a human named Halbrand to deceive those pursuing him.

This new trailer - which was unveiled at Amazon's first ever upfront presentation in New York City on Thursday - reveals a taste of Sauron's power, via Prime Video YouTube, debuting August 29.

The trailer begins with a prophetic shot of Mount Dune, where the One Ring would be tossed into the flames in The Lord of the Rings book/film trilogy.

'An evil, ancient and powerful, has returned,' proclaims Durin (Owain Arthur), presumably to the other dwarves of Khazad-dum.
