Jennifer is a TV and Movie News Editor at ScreenRant. She started her journey in entertainment media in 2022 when she first joined Valnet at CBR before coming to ScreenRant.

Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.

Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.

Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.

She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.

During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.

Michael Keaton's upcoming Western adds three more stars to its talented lineup.

Keaton's new Western thriller, Rode to Ruin, has added several new actors as filming continues. The movie will see Keaton return to the director's chair while also playing one of the lead roles alongside Morgan Freeman and Laura Linney. With production underway in New Mexico, the project is continuing to grow its massive ensemble cast ahead of its release.

According to Variety, Richard Gadd, Bill Camp, and Ray McKinnon have all joined the cast of Rode to Ruin. Gadd, best known for creating and starring in Netflix's Emmy Award-winning series Baby Reindeer, will portray Clive McKinney, a dangerous gang leader who is out for revenge. The roles played by Camp and McKinnon have not been revealed at the time of this article's publication.

The upcoming movie's producer, Lori McCreary, stated that she is excited about the latest additions to the cast. She praised Gadd, Camp, and McKinnon for their abilities as actors. She also expressed her gratitude to Rode to Ruin's casting director Avy Kaufman for assembling the film's talented lineup.

Rode to Ruin follows Henry Tillman (Keaton), a retired U.S. Marshal who has spent four decades tracking down his wife's killer. His search eventually leads him to Joseph Mulberry (Freeman), whose deteriorating mental state complicates Tillman's mission. The film will also feature Chris Candy, Travis Hammer, Thom Rivera, and Derek Hinkey.

This film will be the first that Keaton and Freeman have starred in together for nearly 40 years. Their last on-screen appearance together was in the 1988 drama Clean and Sober. In that movie, Keaton portrayed a real estate agent struggling with addiction, while Freeman played a counselor who helped him through it.

Rode to Ruin will be the third feature film that Keaton has directed in his career. He previously helmed the 2008 crime drama The Merry Gentleman and the 2023 thriller Knox Goes Away, in which he also starred. Production is taking place in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with R. Dean McCreary writing the screenplay.

The producing team includes McCreary, Keaton, Kelly Mendelsohn, Gary Lucchesi, and Richard Gray. Rode to Ruin is being developed through Freeman and McCreary's Revelations Entertainment and Keaton's George & Leona Productions.

Angel acquired worldwide distribution rights to Rode to Ruin in September 2026 and plans to release the film in theaters sometime in 2027. However, the company has not announced a specific release date for the movie yet at the time of this article's publication.
