Michael Jackson's Son Prince Jackson Engaged to Molly Schirmang After 8 Years of Dating
Prince Jackson gave fans a real thrill.
The oldest son of Michael Jackson honored what would have been his late father’s 68th birthday on Aug. 29 with a special appearance at the Michael Jackson ONE show by Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas.
While there, as seen in videos shot by @jpasc24, Prince greeted his father’s longtime fans and signed autographs in the lobby of Mandalay Bay. At one point, he also gathered fans around him and recorded a video of the crowd shouting, as Prince held up his arms, “Happy birthday Michael!”
The 29-year-old kept it casual for the occasion, speaking with fans in a simple black tee and matching backwards baseball cap.
It has been 17 years since the King of Pop—also dad to 28-year-old Paris Jackson and 24-year-old Bigi Jackson—died, during which time Prince has seen how his father’s legacy has continued to endure.
In fact, Michael’s music and story are both still so beloved that his childhood and early rise to global stardom was chronicled in the 2026 biopic Michael, starring Michael’s real-life nephew Jaafar Jackson.
“It has been so special for me to see the impact that this film has had,” he told People at the Las Vegas event. “It is really cool to see this new generation become exposed to his music and his message, and I am hopeful it will make the world a better place.”

As for Prince’s siblings, while Bigi lives a life largely out of the spotlight, three years ago Paris was candid about the public pressures she feels to commemorate every milestone related to her father—which is why she often opts to keep her memories and celebrations private.
"So today is my dad's birthday and back when he was alive, he used to hate anybody acknowledging his birthday," Paris began a 2023 video shared to social media. "He actually didn't want us to even know when his birthday was because he didn't want us to throw a party or anything like that."
According to the singer, fans have often come for her when she’s chosen not to share anything publicly.

"That being said, social media is apparently how people express their love and affection these days," she continued, "and if you don't wish someone a happy birthday via social media, it apparently means that you don't love them and you don't care about them. There have been times where I don't post anything for my dad's birthday and people lose their f--king minds."
Paris noted that whether or not she posts anything isn’t a measure of whether or not she loved her father, adding in the post’s caption, "Please don't use a man you have never met as an excuse to abuse, manipulate, and harass his daughter (who you also have never met)."
As for this year, Paris released a double single on her dad’s birthday, two songs titled “The Breeze” and “Just Me And You.”
“it’s not a tribute. it’s not a commemoration. it’s not a demonstration of any kind,” Paris wrote on Instagram of the music drop, "it is a letter. it is a poem of the sonic variety. it is my honest experience—with love, loss, and para-social relationships vs a personal one.”

Molly Schirmang is very much Prince's lover. Announcing their engagement in August 2025, Prince reflected on their eight years together. "Molly and I have spent a lot of time together and made incredible memories," he wrote on Instagram. "We’ve traveled the world, graduated and grown so much together.
