Jennifer is a TV and Movie News Editor at ScreenRant. She started her journey in entertainment media in 2022 when she first joined Valnet at CBR before coming to ScreenRant.

Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.

Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.

Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.

She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.

During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.

Michael Fassbender's new science fiction thriller, Hope, breaks a major record.

According to Hope's distributor, Plus M Entertainment, the movie has broken the record for the highest overseas pre-sales total ever for a Korean film. The project has been sold to more than 200 territories ahead of its theatrical release this fall. The record-breaking numbers have also already earned back half of the Hope's budget before opening in theaters. With worldwide box office revenue still to come, the film has seemingly garnered a steady following after its successful debut at the Cannes Film Festival.

Hope is written and directed by Na Hong-jin, who is best known for his horror movie, The Wailing. The film also features a large ensemble cast, which consists of Hwang Jung-min (Bum-seok), Zo In-sung (Sung-ki), Jung Ho-yeon (Sung-ae), Taylor Russell (Ai'dovor), Cameron Britton (Va'migere), Alicia Vikander (J'aur), and Fassbender (Ma'veyyo).

Several major distributors have secured rights to the film internationally. NEON will handle English-language territories, including North America, while MUBI acquired distribution rights across Latin America, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Turkey. Focus Features and UPI France will release the movie in France, Benelux, and South Africa, while Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions picked up rights for Portugal, Scandinavia, Iceland, Israel, and the Middle East.
