Michael Douglas and his glamorous wife Catherine Zeta-Jones posed for a sweet family Instagram snap with their lookalike children on Friday.

The Wednesday star, 56, and the American actor, 81, have been married since 2000 and share two children – Dylan, 26, and Carys, 23.

Michael, Catherine and their kids appear to be on holiday together in an unknown destination as they enjoyed drinks at sunset.

'A nice family evening! Hope you all have a wonderful and fun weekend ahead! Lots of love! MD,' he captioned his post. 

Catherine looked radiant and glowing in a one-shoulder black dress while her daughter opted for an elegant silk green gown with a lace neckline. 

Carys, who graduated from Brown University last year, made her NYC theater debut by taking on a role in Anton Chekhov's play The Seagull in July.

The production ran from June 20-27 at St. Lydia's in Brooklyn and a viral video on Instagram captured moments from Carys's performance during one of the nights. 

The clip came to an end as the cast took a bow for the applauding crowd and she was later seen signing autographs for some attendees.

A friend of Carys told the Daily Mail in May that her famous parents are 'so proud' of their daughter's achievement. 

During a conversation with People, she opened up about her desire to follow her passion for acting and performing arts post-college. 

'I grew up doing theater, and I didn't study acting in school, but that's why I'm happy to be in such an informative arts space, so hopefully more of that,' Carys told the outlet. 

And while talking to Town & Country back in 2018, she got candid about growing up with parents in the spotlight. 

'My parents do a really good job of reality-checking me and being like, "Look around you. The life you have is extraordinary."' 

The Wednesday actress, who also took part in the interview with her daughter at the time, added, 'What I instilled in my kids, and I'm very, very proud of it, is manners.

'There's nothing worse than a privileged kid without manners. I drilled it into them like boot camp.'

Catherine continued, 'The teenage years... She knows she cannot roll her eyes at me, or huff and puff around me. I never did it to my mother, and she's not doing it to me.' 

The actress previously shared her thoughts on her kids following in hers and Michael's acting footsteps. 

She expressed on the Today show in 2021 that, 'Michael and I would be the first parents to say, "You know, maybe you should think of another career." 

'But we've seen how passionate they are about the craft.  They know what celebritydom is. They know the good, the bad, warts and all of that.' 

Catherine continued: 'But their passion is about acting as a craft and they've done every theater camp...

'My kids went off to summer camp every year, to theater camp with all the Broadway kids, and held their own very, very well, I have to say.' 

She explained that Carys and Dylan had a conversation with their father, who is the son of late actor Kirk Douglas. 

'One would think that there's so many open doors for people to go into the same business as their parents, but, in fact, one has to really prove themselves more, and it's hard to be compared to.' 

But her children are not 'deterred' from following their dreams and Catherine added she is 'excited to see whatever journey they happen to go on'.
