The set of Michael B. Jordan's upcoming film Miami Vice '85 was allegedly disrupted by a man wielding a knife on Friday.
Production is currently underway for the action thriller also starring Austin Butler which is set to hit theaters in May 2028.
A representative for the New York Police Department told the Daily Mail that a 'verbal dispute' occurred between an individual in the vicinity of the set and a man later identified as 23-year-old Alex Perez at 11:15pm.
The NYPD stated that Perez 'displayed a knife' which caused the other individual to 'become fearful for his safety.'
Perez was taken into custody by law enforcement who arrived to the scene without incident, and the knife was also recovered. The incident resulted in no injuries, according to the NYPD.
It is not known if Jordan, 39, had been on set at the time of the incident on Friday.
