EXCLUSIVE: Camila Mendes and Rachel Matthews‘ production company, Honor Role, has made its first executive hires, tapping former Hello Sunshine executive Meredith Ditlow as Senior Vice President of Film & Television and former Tricky Knot executive Natalie Gerber as Creative Executive.

In her new role, Ditlow will oversee development and production for Honor Role’s growing slate. She previously spent four years at Hello Sunshine, serving as Vice President of Film & Television, and most recently working on the upcoming Apple TV+ series Lucky, starring Anya Taylor-Joy. Prior to Hello Sunshine, she held VP roles at IDW Entertainment and Offspring Entertainment.

In a statement on the two appointments, Mendes and Matthews said, “Honor Role has always been about the people — the voices we champion and the community we build. Welcoming Meredith and Natalie feels incredibly special to us. They bring not only sharp creative and strategic instincts, but generosity, trust, and leadership that elevates everyone around them. We can’t wait to grow alongside them.”

Honor Role launched in 2024 with their inaugural film, Griffin in Summer, which won Best Narrative Feature and Best Screenplay in its Tribeca premiere and is now streaming on Hulu. The company’s second feature, Idiotka, a comedy following a disgraced fashion designer as she enters a cutthroat reality TV competition in West Hollywood, premiered at SXSW 2025, where it was acquired by Utopia. Starring Mendes, Anna Baryshnikov, Julia Fox, Benito Skinner, Saweetie and Owen Thiele, the indie is set to kick off its theatrical release on February 27.

Currently, Honor Role is in post-production on Ded, the next film from Raya and the Last Dragon Oscar nominee Carlos López Estrada, on which we were first to report. The silent film follows the journey of a recently deceased young man struggling to undo his fate as he watches his soulmate, and the world, spin on without him, with Mendes starring alongside López Estrada and Eugenio Derbez.
