Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly Break Up
Machine Gun Kellyis getting in touch with his emo side this holiday season.
Two days after news broke the "Bloody Valentine" singer had parted ways with his pregnant fiancée Megan Fox, he shared a snippet of his pop-punk rendition of "Last Christmas" from NBC's A Motown Christmas special.
Alongside an emoji of a bandaged heart—indicating heartbreak—he wrote on Instagram Story Dec. 12, "Give it to someone special."
Indeed, MGK didn't hold back during his performance, which aired on Dec. 11 and is now streaming on Peacock. In fact, he laid it all out while covering the iconic Wham! track, singing onstage while playing a red guitar, "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart but the very next day, you gave it away."
"This year, to save me from tears," he continued, "I'll give it to someone special."
It's unclear when the holiday special was filmed, though MGK is no stranger to heartache. After all, Megan previously confirmed that their relationship was not without rocky moments—with the couple even calling off their engagement at one point.
"What I've learned from being in this relationship is that it's not for public consumption," the Transformers alum—who started dating MGK in 2020—shared during a March appearance on Call Her Daddy. "What I can say is, that is what I refer to as being my 'twin soul,' and there will always be a tether to him no matter what."
She added, "I can't say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow."
