Meg Ryan put her luxurious Hamptons mansion on the market last week with an eyewatering asking price of $15.25 million.

The 64-year-old When Harry Met Sally... star paid $13.5 million when she acquired the five-bedroom, seven-bathroom property just two years ago.

After a spate of renovations, including the installation of a dog shower with hot and cold settings, she has marked up the house for an offload, via the New York Post

Sitting on a 1.5-acre lot, the 5,000 sq ft house in Bridgehampton, New York includes five fireplaces and security surveillance all over the estate.

The home is also equipped with a five-zone heating and cooking geothermal system, meaning the earth's natural warmth is pumped up from underground.

From the outside, the edifice presents the traditional image of Hamptons elegance, with red brick walls, shingled roofs and high white pillars.

The indoor decor has a sleeker, more contemporary flavor, with an antiseptic color scheme consisting of black, white and varying shades of grey.

Architect Kitty McCoy - who has been working in the Hamptons for more than 30 years - was behind the interior design, according to the listing at Compass

Visitors enter the property by way of a stone pathway leading through a vast, sun-dappled lawn adorned with trees and fastidiously manicured bushes.

Once inside the house, they can relax in a library that comes with an attached bathroom, or make their way to the open plan kitchen-dining room complex.

The mansion's amenities include a patio with ash grey hardwood flooring and a fireplace, as well as a sunken living room and a swimming pool.

Location-wise, Ryan's house is said to be a convenient distance both from the area's beaches and from the center of the village with its famed restaurants like Dopo il Ponte and Jean-Georges at Topping Rose House.

She bought Hank Azaria's 4,100-square-foot loft in the SoHo area of Manhattan for $8 million in 2014 and sold it off at a $2 million markup three years later.

Just last June, she managed to earn $16.8 million on the sale of a 8,352 sq foot house in Montecito, the Santa Barbara celebrity enclave now world famous for playing host Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as well as such names as Oprah Winfrey.

Ryan had initially purchased the five-bedroom, six-bathroom home - which had an 800 sq foot guest house - for a staggering $9.5 million in 2021.

In January 2022, Ryan was spotted riding her bicycle down the Sussexes' private road, despite the presence of signs sternly warning potential trespassers: 'Right to pass by permission and subject to control of owner.'

'Meg riding her bike in there shows she's just like the rest of us, hoping to get a glimpse of them,' a Montecito local exclusively informed the Daily Mail.

When she began trying to sell her Santa Barbara estate, Ryan first asked for $22.5 million, then relented and went down to $19.5 million before settling for $16.8 million.
