Maya Jama steps out with Mustafa the Poet as she keeps it casual in Balenciaga T-shirt and heels - two months after her shock split from Stormzy

Maya Jama looked stylish as she was seen leaving the after party of the Lee premiere on Tuesday evening with Mustafa the Poet - two months after splitting from Stormzy. 

The Love Island presenter, 30, kept it casual as she opted for a simple Balenciaga T-shirt and baggy faded blue jeans. 

Dressing the outfit up, Maya added a pair of open toed black heels to her ensemble before accessorising the look with some dark shades. 

Maya was joined by her singer and poet Mustafa the Poet who also kept it casual in a pair of beige trousers and brown jacket. 

The pair enjoyed an evening attending the premiere of Kate Winslet's latest film, Lee, which is out in cinemas on September 13.  

Maya and Stormzy shocked the world of showbiz back in July after they announced their split after previously going their separate ways following a five year relationship in 2019 and reconnecting in August 2023.

Announcing their 'final' breakup in a joint statement they said: 'We fell madly in love in 2014, broke up in 2019, and the spent five years manoeuvring life apart.

'We decided to try for the final time in August 2023, and we've spent this past year trying our best to make it work; however, we recently decided to call it quits.

'We were 21 and 20 when we first met – both at the beginning of our careers – and spent five years growing together and five years growing separately, so this final attempt required a whole lot of figuring out, relearning, and unlearning. We tried, and it didn't work, and that's okay.'

Since the split, Maya has appeared to have a great summer and she recently cut a radiant figure as she joined the excited crowd packing out the streets in colourful outfits for Notting Hill Carnival's 'family day' last month. 

The presenter was spotted making her way past her fellow festival goers, while carrying a drink and enjoying the party on Portobello Road.

Notting Hill is one of the longest-running street parties in the UK and celebrates Caribbean culture with vividly costumed performers taking part in a parade through the streets with dancing and music.

Maya displayed her always impeccable style, while also giving a nod to her Somali heritage, in her custom Connor Ives outfit.

She wore a blue shirred minidress made from a Somali Adidas shirt, with an added white skirt, leaving her long legs on full display.

The radio DJ teamed it with a simple pair of matching blue trainers and several gold bracelets, with stylish hoop earrings. 

Her dark hair was left down in her natural curls and styled with an intricate braid plaited across the top of her head.

Maya joined the revellers watching on as floats and hundreds of performers wearing vibrant costumes processed through streets in west London for the annual celebration of Caribbean culture.

The star has also spent the summer celebrating her 30th birthday after she enjoyed a plethora of events to mark the milestone. 

Maya found herself the centre of attention as she partied away at O Beach Club in Ibiza after flying her friends to the island for the bash. 

The Love Island host has already partied in style at the Belvedere in London while marking the milestone birthday alongside her celebrity pals before heading off to Ibiza.

During the lavish getaway the TV host shared some joyful snaps where she posed with a huge dessert tray marking the occasion at the Spanish club as her bikini-clad friends held up her name in letters.

Celebrating alongside her best friend Skylar, the duo also enjoyed a birthday cake with their photo printed on the icing.
