Maya Jama joked she was glad she didn't miss her flight as she made a mad dash back to the UK on Saturday night from England's World Cup game in Miami.
The presenter was unable to join the rest of the England fans celebrating in the Hard Rock Stadium after Thomas Tuchel's side beat Norway in a 2-1 quarter final clash.
Instead, Maya had her taxi meet her outside the stadium with her suitcases in so she could dash to the airport for a flight back to London to host Love Island Aftersun on ITV2 at 10pm.
Celebrating the win in the back of a car holding a large glass of white wine, Maya said in an Instagram video: 'I had my car outside the stadium with my suitcases in so I could watch the match and now I am on the way to the airport.
'It's coming home. I will land and go straight to Aftersun, you will see me on live TV ASAP.'
In a follow-up video the presenter was seen wearing the same white halterneck tank top and jeans from the night before as she reassured fans she had made it to the studio.

Wearing undereye hydrating masks, Maya said: 'Proof I made it to work, I'm on set in rehearsals, just like magic'.
Maya soon slipped into a figure hugging brown gown which showed off her jaw-dropping curves as she kicked-off her TV show.
In the opening moments, she joked: 'Happy to be back, glad I didn't miss my flight... Can you imagine it would have been Casey [O'Gorman] hosting'.
That star also took to Instagram to share a glimpse into her experience at the quarter final football game as she held up an England foam finger while watching with John Stones' wife Olivia.
Maya looked amazing in a white halterneck tank top and navy linen shorts as she raised her arms in the air to celebrate the big win.
Another photo showed Maya attempting to re-pack her suitcase after the football in the back of her taxi.
She captioned the gallery of photos: 'Side quest summer (I made it to work on time, live on your tv tonight at 10pm lol)'
It comes after Maya offered a glimpse of her jet-setting summer in a new Instagram post last week, after setting tongues wagging by enjoying a day out with a hunky chef.
The star shared a gallery of snaps showing her wild antics in recent weeks, including boozy nights out and an evening of twerking at Bad Bunny's London show.
Offering a glimpse at her luxurious lifestyle, Maya also shared snaps of herself tucking into fried chicken on her private jet when she made a last-minute dash to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the Bad Bunny concert.
The star showed off her laid-back look from the shows, which included eye-catching printed trousers and a skintight white vest.
Maya has been flying back and forth between the UK and Mallorca while filming the new series of Love Island.
She has also been making the most of her single status after splitting from Manchester City star Ruben Dias in April.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Maya had enjoyed a flirty evening with chef James Freeman.
The TV star was seen hugging the hunky chef outside his restaurant Acre in Notting Hill, West London.
Maya had been enjoying an afternoon at the popular eatery with a group of pals before heading outside to chat to James, 27.
The two looked close, sharing a hug at one point during the intimate conversation, before James clasped Maya's hands in his.
An onlooker said: 'Maya and James appeared to strike up a close bond long after service had finished. They were chatting, drinking and smoking before hugging.'
The fun continued into the night as Maya, James and their group of friends all headed to a nearby house party.
Maya was in great spirits, looking fab in a black crop top and matching skirt as she jokingly plonked a wide-brimmed hat on her head for a wobbly stroll down the street.
Although Maya looked cosy with James, the source insisted to The Sun that Maya and the chef are friends and he is in a relationship.
The Love Island host called it quits on her relationship with Ruben in April.
Maya publicly addressed the break up for the first time as she responded to a clip from the podcast Cocktails and Takeaways as they discussed her relationship.
She penned: 'Truth is even when I tried to keep my relationships private we get photographed anyway, I'm an all or nothing girl.'
'I don't casually date, so yes I will love loudly or not at all and if it ends it ends, I decided a long time ago not to base personal life decisions on public opinions.'
In the opening moments, she joked: 'Happy to be back, glad I didn't miss my flight... Can you imagine it would have been Casey [O'Gorman] hosting'

Following their split, Ruben was accused of sending late night follow requests to a string of gorgeous influencers while still romantically involved with Maya.
However, the Manchester City star has since insisted he did not cheat and said Maya 'deserves all the respect in the world'.
He wrote: 'I feel that when my 85-year-old grandad is asking me if I've cheated on my girlfriend because he's seen it repeatedly on the news, that's where I draw the line on what's acceptable and what's not.
'Maya and I have always had a relationship built on mutual respect. No line was ever crossed in that regard.
'A lie told often enough can start to feel like the truth and for that reason I tell you that I didn't cheat, nor did I ever have the intention or temptation to.'
'I believe Maya deserves all the respect in the world.
'The reasons why we broke up are private and belong to us and we've both dealt with it in a very mature way. I've always chosen to remain silent on these matters as my personal life is my business only.
'But I also believe it's wrong to lie to people and to portray an opposite image of someone just for clickbait.
'Respect me, respect Maya, and understand that not always one has to betray the other in order for a relationship to end.'
