She took over the coveted gig from former host Laura Whitmore and hit the ground running, winning rave reviews from fans for her first series.

The 'dream' gig is a well-deserved peak in the star's career after she moved to London from her native Bristol as a teenager to pursue her dream of stardom, escaping a difficult upbringing and heartbreak to amass a £3 million fortune.

Her success does not end with TV however as Maya has also branched out into the beauty industry, taking over from Kate Moss as the global brand ambassador for Rimmel London.
