Maura Higgins reveals that the I'm A Celeb group chat is 'still going' as she teases potential for huge career move after jungle success

Maura Higgins has revealed that she is still in touch with her I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! campmates.

The former Love Island contestant, 34, took part in the most recent series of the ITV reality show alongside the likes of Coleen Rooney, N-Dubz singer Tulisa and boxer Barry McGuigan.

She was a late arrival in the jungle alongside Reverend Richard Coles, and the pair  got to live in luxury in The Junkyard whilst convincing their co-stars otherwise. 

More than a month after McFly singer Danny Jones was crowned King of the Jungle, Maura confirmed the group chat 'hasn't stopped' and they are planning a reunion. 

During an Instagram Q&A, she revealed: 'We have a group chat called WE DO HAVE FUN & it hasn't stopped since coming off the show...

'Currently planning our reunion, I've got so much love for each and every one of them [white heart emoji]. 

Meanwhile, Maura has considered following the footsteps of former campmates like Katie Price, Gemma Collins and Scarlett Moffatt by launching a podcast.

She does have some reservations about such a project because the market  seems 'oversaturated' to her at the moment, although it's still something she is interested in. 

In another response to fan, she admitted: 'So many of you asking this...

'It's definitely something I've thought about.That said I feel like the podcast space is pretty oversaturated at the minute and I'm not sure what I'd focus on week to week.

'But it's still something I'd like to explore and I think about more! I've had multiple opportunities to start one & let's be reaI I've always got plenty to say!

'Would you guys listen/swatch if we made this happen? I even have the perfect name set aside [white heart emoji].'

Since finding fame, Maura has been a guest presenter on Love Island USA and its Aftersun spin-off. 

In another update, Maura was asked about if she has any more presenting jobs on the horizon. 

She teased: 'Maybe' and signed off with a wink emoji. 

Earlier this month, MailOnline revealed that Maura, who has amassed an estimated £3.2million fortune from her TV appearances, splashed her hard-earned cash on a five-bedroom semi-detached house in an affluent part of the county 

Her riches have allowed the presenter to upgrade from her previous one-bedroom property in Essex to one with an en-suite master bedroom with four further rooms.

Overjoyed, the former Dancing on Ice star shared to her Instagram followers a picture of her new kitchen with a chandelier and grey floors, which she bought in October, with the caption 'Bought my dream house'
