Maura Higgins is continuing her American TV takeover as she confirmed that she's the new host of the U.S version of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

The 35-year-old Love Island star is currently training for Dancing With The Stars and has already appeared on the US version of The Traitors while she also hosted Love Island US: Aftersun.

And just days after she was announced as the host of the Blind Date reboot in the UK, Maura has revealed she's added yet another job to her CV.

Taking to her Instagram stories on Saturday morning, Maura shared several US news articles stating that she will be hosting the show alongside co-host Rob Rausch, 28, who she starred alongside in The Traitors.

Confirming the news, she penned over one of the images: 'Heyyy co host @robert_rausch.'

The programme is set to air on Peacock next year, though it is as yet unclear where it will be filmed.

The I'm A Celebrity franchise has struggled to make an impact across the pond, with two previous attempts having only lasted for one season.

However, Love Island US producer ITV America has regularly pitched the show over the years, with CEO David George telling Deadline last year: 'I will not stop until that show is sold and I think we’re closer than we’ve ever been.'

Maura of course is no stranger to I'm A Celebrity, having starred on the UK version back in 2024, where she finished in seventh place.

Meanwhile, she's very familiar with her new co-star Rob, having appeared on The Traitors alongside the US reality TV star.

In fact, the pair made it down to the final earlier this year, with Traitor Rob deceiving Faithful Maura in order to win the show.

However, later during the reunion show, Maura declared that she forgave Rob after he promised to buy her a Hermes Birkin handbag as a way of an apology.

Like Maura, Rob found fame on Love Island, having starred on series five and six of the US dating show.

Maura's big news comes just days after she landed her biggest TV job to date after being confirmed as the host of the hotly anticipated Blind Date reboot.

The former Love Island star has been hailed the 'perfect match' as she prepares to step into the late Cilla Black's shoes ahead of the iconic dating show's upcoming return to screens next year.

The Irish TV personality is set to continue her US takeover by appearing as a contestant on Dancing With The Stars this autumn, before filming the Blind Date reboot in a secret location later this year.

Angela Jain, head of content at Disney+ EMEA, said in a statement: 'Maura is the perfect match for our version of Blind Date.

'Her distinctive straight-talking humour, coupled with her experience as a reality dating show contestant, means we know she has the gravitas plus the wit to bring Blind Date to new audiences.

'We’re very much looking forward to Maura helping our daters navigate their own journeys to find love as she steps into the famed Blind Date host role.'

Much of the format for the show will stay the same, only this time with 'innovative format twists and a spicy dose of drama' for contemporary audiences.

As with the original format, contestants must choose between three potential suitors, hidden from view behind the legendary Blind Date wall, the only thing standing between them and their potential true love just metres away.

Maura has seen her profile soar both in the UK and across the pond.

Maura is also set to appear on Dancing With The Stars and is partnered with none other than Shirley Ballas' son Mark for the competition - who she met on the US Traitors last year

After hosting the Love Island Games and Love Island US: Aftersun last year, she gained an even bigger traction when she made it to the final of The Traitors US.

So it is little wonder bosses have been eyeing her up for the big TV role, with a source stating back in June: 'Discussions are at an advanced stage, with the show’s producers convinced Maura’s the perfect choice for the job.

They added to The Sun: 'Not only did she shoot to fame on a TV dating contest, she is now an internationally famous face which is what a global service like Disney need for one of their shows.

'Maura also has an unquestionable glamour combined with cheeky charm which has echoes of Blind Date’s most famous host.'

Elsewhere, the Irish beauty is continuing to build her fame in the US as she set to star on Dancing With The Stars later this year.

She is paired up with her pal and Shirley Ballas' professional dancer son Mark, in a move that has sparked a 'fix row' with her unimpressed co-stars.

After her pairing with Mark was revealed and the star being seen rubbing shoulders with judge Bruno Tonioli on a night out, her co-stars are allegedly not best pleased.

A source revealed: 'Maura’s been rubbing everyone up the wrong way, even before their first spray tans have dried.

'She was desperate to be partnered with Mark, who’s hugely popular, and was dead against Gleb, who’s now out of a job. It’s as if what Maura says goes.'

They told The Sun: 'She’s even made sure to get close to judge Bruno Tonioli and wasted no time posing arm-in-arm with him after a night out.

'It’s not gone unnoticed within the cast that she’s being favoured. It’s as if she’s being set up to win.' The Daily Mail has contacted Maura's representatives for comment.

In addition to her successful modelling career, Maura has gone on to make several TV appearances as both a presenter and contestant, including Dancing On Ice, Glow Up Ireland, Supermarket Sweep, National Television Awards and Loose Women.
