Matty Healy Engaged to Model Gabbriette Bechtel

It's not living for Matty Healy if it's not with Gabbriette Bechtel.

After all, The 1975 frontman and the model tied the knot in an intimate ceremony July 18, two years after announcing their engagement during her friend Charli XCX's concert.

For the occasion at Castillo del Lago, Madonna’s former estate in Los Angeles, per People, the 28-year-old walked down the aisle in a white drop waist wedding gown, featuring a tulle veil.

As for her glam, Bechtel styled her long black tresses in a half-up, half-down style and opted for minimal makeup. Among the attendees at their California ceremony were the "360" singer—whose husband is Healy's bandmate George Daniel—as well as Alex Consani and Devon Lee Carlson.

To seal the deal on their I do’s, Healy dipped his wife at the altar before planting a sweet kiss on her lips.

Although the couple—who first sparked romance rumors in 2023 after his split from Taylor Swift—has kept their wedding planning private, Bechtel did share a glimpse into her Las Vegas bachelorette trip on her Instagram last month.

She stepped out in an all-white vintage Chanel blazer and matching skirt, accessorized with a fascinator, before being playfully handcuffed and hauled onto a private plane. She also posed with massive balloons in her hotel room later in the trip that read "Mrs. Healy" and danced with an Elvis Presley impersonator.

And she was sure to keep Healy, 37, nearby with an oversized cutout of his face. She wrote on her Instagram Stories, per screenshots obtained by Page Six, "Always with me."

The "Robbers" singer and the Nasty Cherry member weren't the only celebs who heard wedding bells. In fact, their nuptials came two weeks after Swift married Travis Kelce.

Indeed, the "Bejeweled" singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, brought their love story to Madison Square Garden, where they tied the knot in front of approximately 1,000 friends and family on July 3.

It's clear that love is in the air this summer. And for Bechtel, her relationship with Healy has been more than a fairytale.

"I love being in love," she told Vogue in July 2024. "When I thought that I was in love before, it was just me being a person of service to somebody else."

Now, she's looking towards the future.

"When I have kids," she beamed, "it's going to be dinner every night—no phones—to celebrate the smaller things and recognize people's happiness."

As Healy, Bechtel, Swift and Kelce bask in their respective newlywed joy, keep reading for more celebs who recently tied the knot.
