Weeks after the steady stream of Grand Theft Auto 6leaks prior to the game's big extended look on Netflix, Rockstar Games has another leak problem on its hands. This time, a massive amount of data has surfaced from Grand Theft Auto 5, giving people plenty of canceled DLC plans, scrapped assets, and more to dig through.
Back in 2023, the source code for GTA 5 leaked online. It contained only about four or five GB of data, while the new leaks weigh around 192 GB, according to GTA content creators like TJGM. People have found a huge Liberty City map for GTA 5 DLC that never came to fruition. Liberty City is GTA's version of New York City, and has been featured in several GTA games. Many, like TJGM, are speculating that the Liberty City DLC was canceled for GTA 5 and intended to be used for the upcoming GTA 6, but there's no proof that's the case.
'Agent Trevor' scrapped DLC details surface among big GTA 5 leaks

We had known about a scrapped "Agent Trevor" DLC for some time. It would have seen Trevor, one of GTA 5's protagonists, do his best James Bond impression as a secret agent. Trevor's actor Steven Ogg speculated it was canceled so Rockstar would focus on the cash cow that is GTA Online.
Mission descriptions of the "Agent Trevor" DLC have leaked online and give us a good idea of what antics Trevor would have gotten up to as a secret spy. Torture, bomb diffusion, jetpack escape — standard spy stuff. Trevor even gets his Casino Royale on during sequences at a casino where he could have enjoyed a roulette minigame and prevented an assassination. Interior environments for some of the "Agent Trevor" missions have also leaked.
GTA 5 data isn't the only part of the leaks. Users have also found very early assets for GTA 6, including maps and 3D building models. While some accounts allege these assets are from 2023, it's more likely they're from a very early prototyped version of GTA 6from 2015.
You can listen to unused funny dialogue, cut mission dialogue, and dialogue for the original version of ending A that would have seen Trevor crash into a tank of liquid nitrogen and get frozen (yikes). There's a ton to unpack in these leaks, and people will surely uncover more in the days to come. Users on Reddit and X have already begun compiling and summarizing what has been discovered so far.
