Marvel has changed Scarlet Witch's power level following a recent twist in its latest series. Wanda Maximoff is one of the most powerful characters in the MCU, but Marvel never completely defined her abilities. She has always been a powerful sorceress whose abilities were enhanced once she became the Scarlet Witch and was corrupted by the Darkhold. Even before that, she could control an entire town to act out her false reality in WandaVision, and she almost took down Thanos single-handedly in Avengers: Endgame.
Wanda died in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, despite Marvel continuously teasing audiences about her status. However, Agatha All Along has been rewriting much of what viewers knew about Wanda, including her power levels. After the show's recent twist, Scarlet Witch's powers may be limitless. The series revealed that Joe Locke's Teen is Billy Maximoff, who somehow escaped the hex and found a vessel to possess. Billy's return suggests Wanda can create life, meaning her power levels are close to a god.
Billy's Return Means Wanda Has The Ability To Create Life
Billy And Tommy Weren't Just Figments Of Wanda's Imagination
In WandaVision, Wanda created a false reality for herself where Vision was revived, and the couple had a loving home with their two sons, Billy and Tommy. However, Wanda's pregnancy happened spontaneously, and since Vision wasn't real and a robot, she couldn't have had children naturally. Vision and their kids vanished when the hex disappeared, suggesting Wanda constructed her family, and they were kept alive by her spell. However, Agatha All Along's twist changes the authenticity of Wanda's sitcom reality.
Billy's survival suggests that Wanda created living souls when she created her sons and Vision, making her even more powerful than she was before her death.
In episode 6 of Agatha, a flashback reveals Teen's identity is William Kaplan, who lived just outside the hex and died in a car accident during WandaVision's finale. As the hex shrank, Billy's soul found William's body and possessed it to escape before the hex closed. Billy pretended to be William, so his parents wouldn't find out that their son had died and now had a new identity. Billy's survival suggests that Wanda created living souls when she created her sons and Vision, making her even more powerful than she was before her death.
Billy Surviving The Void Makes Wanda's Demise More Tragic
Wanda Didn't Have To Search Other Realities To Find Her Children
Shortly after WandaVision, Scarlet Witch uses the Darkhold to find a way to reach her children, leading to her villainous turn in Doctor Strange 2. Her desperate attempt to find her kids in another universe leads to the deaths of many people, and ultimately herself when she realizes she was wrong and sacrifices herself to stop what she started. It was a tragic end for Wanda and one that could have been avoided if she had known Billy was still alive.

Marvel Explained Why Scarlet Witch Couldn't Find Billy After WandaVision... But What About Tommy?
Agatha All Along has confirmed that Teen is indeed one of Wanda’s son, Billy, but why couldn’t she find him, and where in the MCU multiverse is Tommy?
In episode 6's flashback, it's revealed that Lilia gave William the sigil after seeing that he would become Billy. This prevented anyone from detecting his presence outside the hex, including Wanda. Billy's survival makes Doctor Strange 2's events and Wanda's death feel unnecessary. Wanda could have found Billy and the pair could have traveled down the Witch's Road together to find Tommy. However, that isn't what happened, and audiences can only imagine what could have happened if Billy didn't have his sigil.
Agatha All Along Explains How Scarlet Witch Was Able To Make Billy & Tommy
Wanda Used A Special Kind Of Magic To Create Her Children
Episode 7 of Agatha All Along brought back Lilia and Jennifer to help Wanda and Teen in their latest trial. As Billy continues to discover his powers, Lilia mentions that he can make anything he dreams a reality. This ability is similar to Scarlet Witch's chaos magic, which allowed her to control all of Westview and turn it into her suburban utopia. It also allowed her to create her kids and a version of Vision similar to the one that died.
Based on Lilia's explanation, Billy appears to have similar powers and the ability to read minds. Agatha All Along hasn't shown the full capability of his powers, and it's unclear how powerful he is, since he doesn't know how to control his magic. Once he learns to control it, it'd be interesting to see if he possesses the same powers as his mother. If Wanda could create life, then Billy and Tommy have the potential to be powerful sorcerers themselves.
