Married at First Sight star Jessika Power hits back at 'clearly fake' viral video that appears to show her smoking from glass pipe

Jessika Power has clapped back after a video that claims to show her smoking from a glass pipe went viral online.  

The 12-second clip, shared by Outlaw Media this week and purported to have been filmed 'recently', shows the woman in profile, inhaling from the pipe repeatedly. 

The woman appears to be inside a private residence and is wearing a black hoodie as she smokes an unknown substance from the pipe.  

In a post on their website, the independent media company claims that those who were present when the video was recorded 'believe the substance being consumed was methamphetamine.'

Power addressed the clip in the comments section on her Instagram page on Monday, replying to a fan who commented: 'Saw a video of you smoking an ice pipe'.

Jessika wrote: 'Haha same. I don't even know how it's getting attention considering it doesn't look like me and (is) clearly a fake video.' 

Several social media users who viewed the clip were dubious about whether it indeed shows the former MAFS bride. 

'Hmmm. Why do I think this isn't even her?' questioned one person. 

Another wrote: 'Stop believing everything you see.'

The Daily Mail has reached out to Jessika Power for further comment. 

It follows a difficult period for Jessika, who was rushed to hospital with a mystery health issue after complaining about stomach pains late last year. 

At the time, the 33-year-old shared a clip in which she could be seen lying on a gurney with tubes attached to her stomach.

She also had a visible black eye. 

Appearing tired but in good humour, Jessika admitted she did not know what was going on with her condition but was undergoing tests.

'It's becoming so common to be here, it's like I live here,' she said. 

Jessika shared a second video after fans asked her to explain the story behind the cut on her eye.

Telling followers that the nasty-looking gash was 'not sore', Jessika said she received the cut while dog-sitting.

Meanwhile, Jessika said the reason she was in hospital was because she had 'really bad problems' with her 'tummy'. 

Jessika rose to fame on season six of Married At First Sight in 2019, where she was married to Aussie farmer Mick Gould.

She was involved in one of the most controversial scandals of the season after she had an affair with another groom, Dan Webb.

Power has gone on to appear on a series of reality shows, including Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Celebrity Ex on the Beach, Celebs Go Dating and Big Brother VIP.
