Married at First Sight groom Eliot Donovan offers BRUTAL advice for 2026 cast seeking fame on new season ahead of premiere - as he's spotted filming dating series

Married at First Sight groom Eliot Donovan has sparked fresh romance rumours after he was spotted filming a new dating-style series on the Gold Coast.

Eliot, 36, was photographed on set at Cali Beach Club on Friday, where he appeared relaxed and in high spirits as he spent time alongside actress Elke Kahler.

The reality TV favourite cut a striking figure in grey shorts and an open-knit cream shirt worn shirtless underneath, proudly showing off his chest tattoos as he laughed, leaned in close and chatted animatedly between takes.

His co-star Elke stunned in a sleek, figure-hugging white dress, wearing her long brunette hair loose and opting for minimal makeup as the pair shared easy chemistry in front of the cameras.

At one point, Eliot was seen smiling broadly as the actress reacted with visible excitement, throwing her head back in laughter as they rested against a timber railing overlooking the venue.

Also taking part in the filming was Eliot's MAFS co-star Beth Kelly, who ensured she stood out in a plunging red halter-neck gown that highlighted her toned figure.

Beth appeared in good spirits as she mingled with cast members and crew, laughing and chatting with Eliot throughout the afternoon.

The shoot attracted a familiar mix of reality TV faces, with Love Island Australia favourite Tyra Johannes hosting the online series.

She was supported by her partner Kale Roberts and fellow Love Island alum Reid Polak, who were all spotted enjoying the lively atmosphere as filming unfolded.

Speaking to Daily Mail, Eliot opened up about what he has been up to since his stint on the controversial Channel Nine experiment.

'Got the coaching business. I've kind of been in my little Gold Coast bubble.'

He added that stepping back from social media has been a welcome change.

'It's really thriving,' Eliot said of his business. 'It's given me a break from doing kind of social media stuff, which, you know, I'm kind of over a little bit.'

While he confirmed more TV projects are in the works, Eliot remained coy about the details.

Eliot also weighed in on other reality formats, admitting he could see himself tackling physically demanding shows like SAS, while joking he would be 'terrible' on Dancing With the Stars.

He said his dream gig would be competing on The Amazing Race with fellow bride Jamie Marinos.

When asked what advice he would give to the new Married at First Sight cast, Eliot was brutally honest.

'Just sit back and enjoy the ride,' he said. 

'Change countries. Delete your socials. Have thick skin.'

He added that he does not regret his time on the show at all.

'No, no, no. I had an amazing experience,' Eliot said. 'I loved it. I had a fun time, even when I was a villain. I didn't take it too seriously. I kind of just went along for the ride.'

He also revealed he is currently single and steering clear of dating apps.

'I'm a single man,' he said. 'I'm not on any apps right now. I've kind of come to terms with the fact that I might just be single for the rest of my life.'

Despite that admission, Eliot's flirty appearance on set suggests he is far from out of the dating game.

The event was filmed at Cali Beach Club on the Gold Coast as part of an online series created to promote Vaseline's new After Glow range.
