The couple, it turns out, had dated before—making their accidental pairing by the show's so-called 'experts' a scandalous oversight that has had everyone talking.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Daily Mail Australia can reveal another bombshell that rocked the experiment—bride Jamie Marinos' jaw-dropping confession at intruder groom Teejay Halkias' wedding to Beth Kelly.

Jamie revealed that she had slept with Teejay, who is also originally from Adelaide, in the past - at his wedding reception.

In a stunning twist, it has been revealed that newlyweds Jeff Gobbels and Rhi Disljenkovic were far from strangers when they said 'I do' during their August wedding

An insider said: 'We were all sitting at the main table, enjoying the wedding, and then Jamie just walked over and said, "I slept with TJ".'

'The entire room froze. It was like a grenade had gone off—nobody could believe what they were hearing,' the source revealed.

One shocked guest recalled the moment vividly: 'I just sat there like, "What?!" She said it so casually, and we were all thinking, why would she drop that bombshell at the wedding, of all places? The whole atmosphere changed instantly.'

Beth, the newly wed bride who had just exchanged vows with Teejay, was also left completely blindsided.

'Beth had no clue about their history,' a fellow guest revealed. 'This is going to blow up, and it's definitely going to cause problems for them.'

The fallout from Jamie's shocking revelation has already started brewing, with one guest admitting, 'Someone asked, "Should we be worried about her Jamie]?" and the answer was, "Well, we've all got a problem now, don't we?"'

'There's no doubt this will all be on TV, people are going to lose it when they see what happened.'

And it seems this is just the beginning.

Producers have teased that the drama between the couples is only going to escalate.

'We knew there would be sparks between some of the participants, but we didn't expect this many past connections to surface,' a production insider hinted.

'This season is going to be unforgettable. Viewers are in for a wild ride.'
