Mark Wahlberg offers free refreshments and gear to support victims of LA fires

Mark Wahlberg is providing complimentary refreshments and snacks to victims of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.

On Friday, the the 53-year-old actor took to his Instagram Story to reshare a post from his active lifestyle store, Municipal — which includes a coffee shop — spreading the information.

Located in Oceanside, California, the chain is giving away coffee, drinks, pastries and gear until further notice. The store is also opening up their lounge to those in need of charging stations and a safe space.

It read: 'To anyone affected by the LA fires and made their way to San Diego. We'd like to offer you free coffee, drinks, pastries & gear at our Oceanside flagship until further notice.

'Please make yourself as comfortable as possible. Feel free to setup shop in our lounge area to make calls, hop on your laptop, charge devices, hang out...whatever. We're here to be of service.'

Municipal is located at 1722 S Coast Hwy #2, Oceanside, CA 92054, and is open daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The co-founder's post comes after more than 100,000 residents of the City of Angels were forced to flee their homes as scattered blazes have continue to pop up in Southern California. And some A-lister's have already devastatingly lost their million dollar mansions. 

Paris Hilton, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman, Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore and Jen Atkin are among those whose homes have been destroyed by the untamable inferno.

The Ted actor's — who is currently filming a project in London — act of good faith was a hit with fans, who flooded the comments in support for using his brand's flagship location to aid those victimized by the wildfires.

'That’s amazing. Yet another reason why @municipal is the best. More then just clothes it’s a community ❤️,' one follower penned.

Another chimed in, 'Stepping up to support the community is awesome! And reflects the heart of MUNICIPAL CO.'

Wahlberg co-founded the clothing and athletic apparel chain alongside Harry Arnett and Stephen Levinson in 2019. 

Many of the brand's brick-and-mortar stores include coffee shops, barber shops and lounges. The flagship store in Oceanside, California that is providing the complimentary refreshments has an Urth Caffé inside.

According to the brand's site, their mission is to inspire people to 'bet on themselves and make big things happen'.

Just last week, Wahlberg shocked fans by shaving his head in promotion of his new film Flight Risk.

The actor actor took to Instagram to debut his bold new look in a behind-the-scenes video that followed the star along the shaving process and had viewers on the edge of their seats. 

Flight Risk is slated to hit theaters on January 24, 2025. The film's official website teases a suspenseful journey where 'tensions soar and trust is tested, as not everyone on board is who they seem. 

In preparation for his on-screen roles, the Massachusetts native frequently starts his days in the gym at 4am in order to keep his arms sinewy, his chest chiseled and his six-pack abs etched.
