Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas Reunite Onstage for Chicago on Broadway
Mark Ballas is down to take date night to the ballroom.
The Dancing With the Stars champion shared his thoughts on whether he'd be interested in partnering with his wife BC Jean if there were to be a special edition of the ABC reality competition series, in which the pros were paired with their real-life spouses.
"It'd be fun," Mark told E! News at the 2026 Tony Awards in an interview alongside his wife. "We already make music together. We got a new album coming this year. We've been doing that for 10 years now together. So, I think dancing together would be so much fun."
And while BC—who shares son Bankski, 2, with the professional dancer—echoed her husband's enthusiasm on a possible team-up, she has one condition.
As she emphasized, "I'd have to win." After all, Mark has won three Mirrorball trophies during his many years on DWTS.
And the Broadway star knows his wife has what it takes, noting that BC—born Brittany Jean Carlson—has "natural rhythm."
While the couple has been married for nearly a decade and record music under their duo Alexander Jean, BC joked that her husband potentially taking the lead could flip around their dynamic as she'd have to take a back seat for once.
"It would be a lot of fun," she said. "We might kill each other in the process."
"I would have to listen to him, and that's a problem," she joked. "I'd have to just be like, 'OK, I'll shut up!'"
And as BC gets ready to watch her husband perform at the Tonys to celebrate Chicago's 30th anniversary, she couldn't be more happy to stand by his side.

"It never gets old," she said of watching Mark take the stage, "because he's phenomenal."
"When I come to see him on the Broadway stage, he always surprises me because he always brings a different hint of a different thing to each character he plays," she explained. "I'm always taken [aback] and I don't believe I'm watching my husband, I'm just captivated by the whole performance. And I think that's probably the biggest compliment a performer could get."
