Why Margot Robbie’s Wuthering Heights Wedding Photos Have the Internet Divided
Margot Robbie’s new look is what gothic dreams are made of.
True to her eye for archival fashion, the 35-year-old once again turned heads with her see-through outfit at the Wuthering Heights film premiere in London on Feb. 4.
At the event, Margot—who stars as Catherine alongside Jacob Elordi’s Heathcliff in the movie—wore a custom nude dress from Dilara Findikoglu’s fall 2025 collection. Sporting a sheer fabric, the gown starts with an exposed corset and flows out into a ruffled train. She then elevated the look with green rope-like accessories and minimal jewelry.
This isn’t the first time Margot has incorporated forestry green into her press tour looks. After all, the Emerald Fennell-directed movie—which will release on Feb. 14—was filmed in a woodsy area in England, the same location Emily Brontë’s book of the same name is based in. A day prior, she sported a green-hued trench coat from John Galliano, a black skirt and silver heels while at a London photo call on Feb. 4.
And as the Barbie alum continues to serve looks, she can count on her long-time stylist Andrew Mukamal to use Brontë’s novel as inspiration to create her outfit’s theme.
“He’s a history major, he really enjoys delving deep,” Robbie told Elle in January. “He came to set while we were shooting, he spent time with Jacqueline [Durran] our costume designer, which normally doesn’t happen.”

Mukamal’s presence on set wasn’t the only highlight of the project. Indeed, Margot—mom to 16-month-old son with husband Tom Ackerley—revealed the film’s director gave her and Jacob, 31, a special gift to help them get into character.
“At the studio, we both had a dressing room,” she explained during her and the Saltburn actor’s joint interview on Today last month. “Emerald went into our dressing rooms and made a shrine of each other in our dressing rooms.”
Describing Fennel’s present as “so unhinged and so hilarious,” she added, “She put, like, locks of hair and pictures of us, candles and made a full shrine. Mine was a Jacob shrine. He had a Margot shrine. It was so funny.”
