So you want a little rivals-to-lovers arc with the prickly blacksmith? No judgement, I too came of age at the height of the tsundere tsunami so I'm not surprised that March has become by far the most popular bachelor in Fields of Mistria (so long as his brother Olric stays un-romancable, that is).

Perfect copper ore is the easiest of March's loved gifts to stock up on and gift to him repeatedly. You're going to be mining tons of copper from levels 1-20 of the mines early on and you'll pretty routinely score perfect ores as you're swinging away. Donate your first one to the museum and stash the rest to sweeten March up. Until you find your first one (and if you run out), he likes regular copper ore too.
