Marcello Hernández Offers Rare Insight Into Romance With Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral

Marcello Hernández came all this way to rave about his girlfriend.

The Saturday Night Live alum shared a rare peek into his romance with girlfriend Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral while attending the 2026 Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles Feb. 1.

“She's unreal,” Marcello exclusively told Zuri Hall during Live From E!: Grammys while attending with Elliana Walmsley. “She's a good person.”

The 28-year-old noted that Ana—who graduated from Yale and is the co-founder of the design company BATLLE + sig— also “has great taste.”

“She loves her family,” he continued. “She's obviously well educated. Has manners, ‘please and thank you.’ She's a good girl. She's great.”

Marcello and Ana—who attended high school in the Dominican Republic—first sparked romance rumors in May when they stepped out together at The Phoenician Scheme’s premiere after-party. The couple then confirmed their romance in July when they attended the premiere of Happy Gilmore 2, hitting the red carpet together.

And while many fans were curious if the comedian would ever consider dating Sabrina Carpenter, Marcello confirmed on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast that the two were just “pals” as he is “in a relationship with a Dominican girl.”

She’s an architect,” he shared of Ana on the Jan. 26 episode. “She’s unreal. She went to Yale.”

Marcello—whose father was born in the Dominican Republic—noted that he and Sabrina developed a rapport when she appeared on SNL and took part in his “Domingo” sketch. The “Espresso” singer even arrested the funny man during one of her concerts.

“The Domingo thing was big,” he added, “and she was all about it and it was so cool.”

And while there was no love connection, there is a strong friendship between the two, with Marcello also being blown away by Sabrina’s comedic chops, which she developed as a child actor on shows like Girl Meets World

“Sabrina’s really down to clown,” he continued. “She’s down to think of something funny.”
