Ever since one UK retailer went a full day early for the God of War 20th Anniversary controller, I've been hoping or half-expecting the same one or another to do it again with every subsequent release.

Sadly, not the case today in either the UK or US as I have just done a sweep!

About the design...

I liek the design of this DualSense! In the face of there being quite a lot of why space, the accents, design flares and contrasting green and pink flourishes set this one apart and really make it pop.

Let's talk pricing

A super key detail, as always, is pricing.

Generally, there are no surprises here as the DualSense will cost you $84.99 / £74.99 while the US-exclusive Pulse Elite headset will cost you $169.99.

That puts the DualSense price at the same as previous limited edition releases, but the limited edition Pulse Elite headset is, because it's a new thing, new pricing territory, and 20 bucks more than the standard Elite headsets.

When do pre-orders begin?

The next most important thing (probably) to know is when pre-orders exactly begin tomorrow (January 29) And I've got that information right here!

Pre-orders for the Marathon DualSense open at 10am local time in countries across Europe tomorrow.

Then, pre-orders will begin at 10am ET / 7am PT in the US for the DualSense and the Pulse Elite headset.

Simple stuff, and follows suit with previous pre-orders by Sony.

For everyone, tomorrow's release sees a limited edition Marathon DualSense PS5 controller go up for pre-order.

However, for those in the US, you lucky folks can also order a limited edition PS5 Pulse Elite headset which is US-exclusive (and PS Direct exclusive)! Fancy.
