Make Friends With Adorable Cats and Dogs on Apple Arcade in May

1 week ago 5

Pet lovers, rejoice. Apple Arcade will add the game With My Buddy to the service in May, letting you raise kittens and puppies to adulthood and then nurture your furry pal like your own pet.

Apple Arcade is filled with familiar and classic games, along with exclusive titles, that you can play for $7 per month (£7, AU$10). You can find many of these games in the App Store, but they have paywalls and ads that might hinder your gaming experience.

Here are all the games Apple Arcade subscribers can play on May 1. You can also check out the games Apple added to the service in April, like Katamari Damacy Rolling Live.

Raising cats and dogs can be a very rewarding experience for many people, but some people might not be able to have pets in their home because of allergies, landlord rules or other reasons. However, Apple Arcade subscribers can play this pet-simulation game similar to the classic game Nintendogs. You can befriend Frenchies, Shiba Inus and other critters of different shapes and sizes. You'll take them on walks and play with them, and once they get old enough, you can put them in precious little outfits.

What the Clash?

Developer: Triband

Two people with hands for heads running at each other. Behind these people are cars, bowling pins and other miscellaneous items.

This silly game comes from the same minds that made What the Golf? and What the Car?, and their latest game retains the same level of hilarity. This 1v1 battle game has you face off against another player or the computer in mini games like archery and table tennis, but there's a twist. Modifier cards can turn these games on their heads, resulting in competitions like toasty archery, sticky tennis and milk the fish -- whatever that is. So get ready for some chaotic fun.

Lego Friends Heartlake Rush Plus

Developer: StoryToys

Three cars on a Lego brick road. There's also a jet int he air over the cars.
Apple

Get ready to race through Heartlake City, dodging obstacles and collecting treasures along the way, in this colorful, fast-paced adventure. You can race as Lego friends and their pets, like Aliya and Leo, and you can collect pieces to customize your ride with unique colors, decals and more. Race, explore and have fun in this digital Lego world.

This game features cute Japanese characters, like Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi from the manufacturing company San-X, and colorful maps. With the simple gameplay mechanics -- you tap to match items -- this game is a pleasant way to relax and unwind.

Apple

Test your vocabulary as you go on a journey around the world in this word-search game. Each level has a theme, like fast food and city life, and you'll visit different worldwide landmarks, too. Who knows, maybe you'll learn a few new words in your journeys.

You can access these games on Apple Arcade on May 1 for $7 per month or $50 annually, and you can access other games on the service now for the same price. You can also try Apple Arcade for free for one month with your first sign-up, or you can get a three-month free trial when you buy a new Apple device. To access Apple Arcade, open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, and tap the joystick in the menu bar.
