MAFS' newest diva Gia Fleur reveals her major weight loss since filming the show - as heartbreaking reason behind her slimmed-down figure is revealed

Married At First Sight's newest diva bride Gia Fleur debuted her noticeably slimmer figure during a casual stroll in Melbourne on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old disability support worker from Victoria turned heads as she stepped out in a figure-hugging cream midi dress that showcased her dramatically toned-down frame.

Carrying a Louis Vuitton handbag and clutching her phone, Gia appeared in high spirits as she strutted along the footpath in matching white heels, flashing a beaming smile.

Her elegant sleeveless ensemble highlighted her tattooed arms and sculpted waist, while her long blonde hair fell in soft waves over her shoulders.

With her noticeably slimmer frame and cinched-in waist, Gia looked almost unrecognisable from the fuller-figured bride who is appearing on the latest series of MAFS.

But insiders say Gia's physical transformation was not driven by vanity - instead, it was sparked by anxiety behind the scenes as filming progressed. 

According to a production source, Gia was 'worried' about her edit from early on and was repeatedly told she would be 'copping it' once the episodes aired. 

'She was constantly warned about how she was coming across,' the insider told Daily Mail.

'It played on her mind a lot. She knew she was being positioned a certain way and it made her very anxious.'

The source added that Gia became hyper-aware of how she would be perceived by viewers, especially in comparison to other brides in the cast.

'She didn't want to be misunderstood or torn apart online,' the insider said.

'She felt the pressure massively and it affected her confidence.'

MAFS returned with a bang on Monday night and Gia has already made a lasting impression.

And already the show's 'wildest bride ever' Gia Fleur has viewers talking after she made a racy, ballsy entrance during the premiere episode. 

She put on a busty display, shaking her cleavage for the camera while she made a bowl of pasta. 

From the outset, Gia made it clear she sees herself as the dominant force in her future marriage, proudly embracing her fiery heritage and unapologetic confidence.

'I am a typical Italian. I can be a bit spicy and a bit crazy. I definitely take pride in my appearance,' she said.

'My husband, he's gotta keep up with me. I will keep him on his toes. I'm not easy, but with men, I always get my way,' Gia declared.

'It's easy to know why. Beautiful fake t*ts. He's gonna listen to me, isn't he?'

For Gia, glamour is non-negotiable, even before sunrise.

'I'm up at 6:00 AM looking like a Barbie. That's it,' she said.

Gia's brutally honest take on how other women perceive her also raised some eyebrows. 

'Other women are like, "Oh, look at her. Like stuck-up b***h." Like, why is she, why does she feel the need to have her t*ts out?' she said.

'Like, 'cause Karen, I wanna have my t*ts out. What's wrong with that? Like, I don't care. I don't give a s**t.'
