Domenica Calarco has revealed more details about her fallout with fellow MAFS alum and ex best friend, Ella Ding.
Domenica, 31, and Ella, 30, pulled the plug on their podcast Sit With Us in August, and rumours have swirled that it was due to an interpersonal conflict.
But on a recent episode of Domenica's new podcast Mad Woman, she explained where the rift with Ella really began.
'The breakdown of our friendship really started when the backlash from Sit With Us happened,' Dom began, referring to the controversial conversation the podcasters had with MAFS 2024 'villain' Jack Dunkley.
The controversy erupted after Domenica and Ella faced criticism for their interview with Jack, who previously sparked outrage by telling co-star Jonathan McCullough to 'muzzle' his wife Lauren Dunn during a dinner party.
The interview prompted a heated response from fellow media personality Abbie Chatfield, further intensifying the scrutiny on the podcast hosts at the time.
Domenica said that herself and Ella 'had very differing opinions and views on the way to handle the situation. For me, I wanted to face it head on, I didn't want to bury my head in the sand.'
At the time, Domenica's social media posts were inundated with comments from fans asking her to address the podcast controversy.

While Domenica chose not to provide a statement during this period, she did assure several fans that she and Ella will be responding to the backlash 'very soon'.
'Don't get me wrong, I'm all for getting back on the horse...but when it's something as detrimental and f***ing huge as what we were dealing with, you can't just bury your head in the sand. It was making things worse.
'Justifiably, people were shocked that I wasn't saying anything. I wanted to so badly. But I was told by the greater powers that be, but also my co-host, "shut up, don't say anything. Ignore it. It's going to go away." I knew it my f***ing core this was not going away.'

Domenica concluded her monologue by advising her listeners to trust their instincts.
'Listen to your gut. Your gut will never lie to you.'
It comes as Domenica and Ella have unfollowed each other on Instagram, marking the end of their nearly four-year friendship.

The pair confirmed that they are no longer on speaking terms, further fuelling rumours of a rift that have been circulating for months.
The former MAFS stars both addressed the situation, confirming that their once-strong bond had come to a close.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia in September, Ella stated, 'I've got nothing to say but I wish her the best of course, always will. All good things come to an end.'
Meanwhile, Domenica echoed her sentiments, saying, 'We definitely unfollowed each other. I don't even know where to begin.'
This revelation follows reports that Ella had 'distanced herself' from Domenica during a difficult period when she was hospitalised.
Sources close to the pair claimed that Ella treated Domenica 'like a mental patient' and acted as though she was a completely different person, which strained their relationship further.
The news of their unfollowing came just a few days after the two were seen together in Sydney, quashing earlier rumours of a feud.
