‘Summer House’ Stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Break Up After 4 Years of Marriage
This story contains spoilers from season one of Hulu's Love Overboard.
Some relationships just aren't built to survive dry land.
Just ask the couples who met filming season one of Hulu's latest reality TV dating competition series Love Overboard after they were forced to sink or swim once the cameras stopped rolling.
Hosted by Traitors winner Gabby Windey and set on a multi-million dollar mega-yacht in Malta, the show challenged singles to search for their one true love on the high seas. After each week of competition, the hopefuls who didn't make a connection with their prospective partners were forced to walk the plank—literally—falling out of love and into the Mediterranean Ocean waters below.
During the season finale, three couples remained hoping to win the grand prize—a $100,000 trip around the world: Gia Aldisert and Tim Demirjian, David Fuhrmann and Val Zuluaga and James Barranca and Lexi Borges.
Ultimately, Gia and Tim were voted most compatible couple by their fellow castaways and were officially crowned Love Overboard's first-ever winners.
So, has life as a couple been smooth sailing for Tim and Gia, or did the pair hit rough waters once they returned to real life?
"Obviously, a lot happened on that boat that was incredible and amazing," Tim told People in an interview published March 30, "and a lot of stuff has happened post-show, post-boat, real life that's been equally amazing."
And while the 30-year-old played coy, not confirming their status either way, Tim said that fans will have to "tune in and follow along with life after the boat and life in the real world" to find out whether he and the 23-year-old are still together.

However, the entrepreneur noted he and Gia "spend a lot of time together" and are still planning to enjoy the prize they won together.
"We haven't actually taken the trip yet, but we plan on taking the trip very soon," he told the outlet. "From after filming until now, we had to keep a lot of things very much under wraps. [Now] we can plan the trip."
As for how the other couples have navigated life beyond the yacht?

Gia Aldisert & Tim Demirjian: Seemingly Still Together
After winning the $100,000 vacation on season one, Gia and Tim played coy when addressing whether their love survived off the yacht.
"That’s a loaded question,” Gia told Swooon in April 2026, while Tim added, "Obviously, there’s a lot that happened on that boat. Me and Gia both live in L.A. She lives about eight minutes away from me, and a lot has obviously happened since, so you’re just going to have to follow along."
Mark these two together...for now.

David Fuhrmann & Val Zuluaga: Broken Up
David made waves on the show when he pursued Val after he had already asked Lauren "Lo" Ollivierre to be his girlfriend.
But it seems Lo may have had the last laugh.
After Lo revealed the duo's romance was "short-lived" once they returned to the real world, Val seemingly confirmed the split with a cryptic March 2026 Instagram in which she wrote, "I'm asking for my privacy while I process things in my own time,” adding, “I’ll share my story when I’m ready, and on my terms.”

Jake Rath & Christine Templeton: Still Together
Jake and Christine voted to eliminate themselves from the show ahead of the final plank ceremony because they acknowledged that they had the least amount of time to develop a relationship out of the remaining couples.
Since disembarking, the fitness coach and social media manager seemingly confirmed they are still together by sharing PDA-pics from filming in a joint Instagram post in April 2026.

Delaney Kluger & Keif Kratochvil: Broken Up
Delaney and Keif didn't exactly float each other's boats. The model and police officer realized they weren't compatible soon after hooking up on the show, as her flashy lifestyle in the spotlight didn't really vibe with his traditional all-America values.
The duo amicably parted ways before returning to dry land.

Koray East & Leela Ambrose-Fleck: Still Together
After the finale, Leela confirmed she and the German-born athlete are going strong in an April 2026 TikTok video, with Koray sweetly joking, "We didn't win the 100K but, you know what, we won each other."

James Barranca & Lexi Borges: Broken Up
James and Lexi went their separate ways several months after filming in Malta. The reason?
“I’m all the way in Florida, he’s in California,” Lexi told Swooon. “I’m a lovergirl. I’m a physical touch person. It was really difficult being on different sides of the country. So, we didn’t continue our journey after a while, but it was just a distance issue.”
But the breakup was completely amicable. As she added, "I think we’re really trying to push the being close and being friends with your ex.”
