Love Island USA star Nic Vansteenberghe has revealed the passionate new fanbase wild over his iconic 'mamacita' line.
Last year, Vansteenberghe achieved meme status after fellow islander Huda Mustafa revealed to him that she had a daughter back home.
But the manner in which she delivered the news clearly confused Vansteenberghe, prompting a hilarious exchange that went viral and even came to the attention of Justin Bieber.
'I'm a mommy,' Mustafa told Vansteenberghe in the unforgettable moment. 'Mom? Mamacita?' he replied.
Now Vansteenberghe has revealed that the line has resonated with one particular demographic - pregnant women.
'It was surprising coming out of the villa not knowing that that was the thing and a lot of pregnant women come up to me, and want me to say it. It's kind of funny,' he told The Daily Mail at Clarins' Sugar & Shine Galentine's Affair last week when asked about the response to the quote.

The line even came to the attention of Justin Bieber, who posted a video featuring the quote to his Instagram. The quote was mashed up with various scenes, including a clip of him telling a photographer 'I'm a dad, I'm a husband' (pictured above during the interaction in June 2025)
The misunderstanding occurred on season seven of Love Island USA, after Mustafa attempted to tell Vansteenberghe that she is in fact a mother.
'All the girls know, Jeremiah knows, but you have to promise me you're not going to say anything to the other guys 'cause it's not their business, but I'm a mommy,' she begins.
The message apparently didn't sink in right away. 'Mommy?' Vansteenberghe replied.
'I'm a mom,' she stated again.
'Mamacita,' he repeated.
'No, I'm a mommy,' she said.
'A mom of what? A dog?' he asked.
'I have a daughter,' she said before finally confirming she is the mother of a 'human child.'
Unbeknownst to Vansteenberghe at the time, the hilarious moment became a sensation outside of the villa.
Not only did it become a meme, but the quote even landing a spot on Justin Bieber's Instagram grid.

The quote was mashed up with various quotes, including video of Bieber telling a photographer, 'I'm a dad, I'm a husband.'
'You're not getting it, it's not clocking to you,' Bieber said in the video.
Vansteenberghe was among a number of stars celebrating the Galentine's Day with Clarins at Cucina Alba in Los Angeles last Thursday.
The bash, thrown to spotlight their iconic Lip Perfector gloss, was held two weeks before the romantic holiday, but Vansteenberghe already has plans made with girlfriend Olandria Carthen.
Vansteenberghe, a nurse and model, has been going strong with Olandria since ending up together on Love Island.
'We're actually celebrating the day before,' he told The Daily Mail. 'What are we doing the day before? Oh, I can't say yet! But we're celebrating February 13th.'
When asked for a hint of his plans, he said: 'It's at the Kia Stadium.'
