Irish football player Sean and police detective Lola coupled up at the start of the series and went on to tell each other they loved each other just a few weeks in.

They cemented themselves as one of the strongest pairs, until they endured a few spats with Julia.

After a public vote they ended up in the bottom three least favourite couples alongside Samraj and Mica and Martha and Jordan.

Favourite couple Julia and Lorenzo were given the power to decide who to dump but in the end Sean and Lola decided to leave on their own accord.

They told Lorenzo: 'We've found each other and we're so happy and you guys haven't had a fair shot.

'Don't stress yourself out Lorenzo, we're happy to pick ourselves.'

The pair had a series of rows with Julia following Sean's time in Casa Amor.

Julia took issue with Sean saying he 'needed a test' in the second villa in order to see if his connection with Lola was real.

In return Lola then called Julia a 'b**ch' during several tense fights around the firepit.

Fans turned on Lola for her 'mean girl behaviour' after the encounters as they penned on X: 'Lola is really threatened by Julia and she doesn't even try to hide it.,'

'Lola is being mean and showing a really unpleasant side to her.', 'Julia is the bigger person and has highlighted Lola's bitterness.',

'Please why does Lola hate Julia so much?'., 'She's acting like she's slept with her man, my conclusion is that she's simply jealous and bitter.'

Speaking after their exit Lola said: 'I think it was the perfect end to our journey. Me and Sean were really happy to have gone. I think we had the most incredible time there.

'We met the most incredible people and most of all, we found each other. The other two couples there had so much left to give and so much left to learn about themselves, whereas me and Sean were in a really good place.

'Being able to take the burden off Lorenzo, just having to pick, because we know how much he struggled the last time, was nice. We went in there for love and we found that, so there was nothing more we needed from it.'

She continued: 'How deeply we both fell so quickly as well, I couldn't have asked for a better journey with someone. It was incredible.'
