Love Island Australia fans have been left shocked after learning of dumped contestant Eilisha's very surprising family connection to Miley Cyrus.
The Queensland support worker, 25, has proved herself to be one of the most controversial contestants on Nine's 2024 season and has ruffled some feathers.
She was brutally dumped from the villa in Tuesday's episode and cryptically remarked 'f**k this I'm going to Los Angeles' upon her departure.
However, fans were left shocked after learning the true meaning behind her words, discovering she is the niece of Tish Cyrus' new husband Dominic Purcell.
Her very surprising family connection to Tish's singer daughter Miley emerged when eagle-eyed fans noticed her surname is listed as 'Purcell' on Instagram.
Her mother is Australian actor Dominic's sister Marie-Therese and Eilisha seems to have a close bond with her uncle, even attending his August 2023 wedding to Tish.
Photographs shared to Eilisha's Instagram page show her rubbing shoulders with Miley, 31, and Tish, 57, as she was even part of bridal party on the day.
In one picture from the intimate family ceremony, Eilisha was seen flashing a huge smile as she posed alongside Miley in a very rare glimpse inside the wedding day.

Another shot showed Eilisha posing arm-in-arm with Prison Break star Dominic as she flocked around him on his special day.
'Throwback to an amazing wedding celebrating love,' Eilisha captioned the carousel of wedding photos which were discretely left up on her Instagram page.
'My mermaid nieces,' Tish lovingly commented on the post, which also included a photo of the newlywed bride with Eilisha.
Fans were quick to share their shock over Eilisha's very famous family connection, taking to the comments to post their reactions.
'Holy sh*t,' one shocked Aussie fan commented when the photos were shared.
'So does that mean Miley Cyrus is her step cousin?' another queried.
As well as Eilisha's mother Marie-Therese, Dominic also has three other siblings - Damian, Jaime and Patrick.
Dominic and Tish went Instagram official just months after she filed for divorce from country star Billy Ray Cyrus for a third time in April 2022 after 28 years of marriage.
They then tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Malibu, California, with a select guest list in attendance and few pictures shared from the occasion.

The ceremony took place in the backyard of a luxurious Malibu mansion as guests sat poolside across from the proceedings.
Tish's bridal party, including Eilisha, wore ice blue dresses while Dominic's groomsmen sported white button-ups to match the Aussie actor.
Dominic's four children – Joseph, Audrey and twins Lily-Rose and Augustus - who he shares with his ex-wife Rebecca Williamson, were also in attendance at the wedding.

While some family members such as Dominic's kids and Tish's daughter Miley were present, Tish's other children Noah and Braison were absent - fueling speculation of a rift at the time.
According to a DailyMail.com insider, Noah's absence at the wedding was not by choice, but the result of Tish failing to invite her.
Us Weekly then published a report claiming Tish, 56, had 'stolen' Dominic from Noah, 24, who was said to be 'seeing' the actor when her mother began to pursue him.

However, it was then claimed Noah 'never dated' Dominic and she was accused by family insiders of 'fabricating' the relationship to 'paint herself as the victim' in her ongoing feud with Tish.
Amid her famous family connections, Sydney-born Eilisha has also risen to fame herself in recent weeks on the 2024 series of Love Island Australia.
However, she divided fans during her time on the show and was branded as a 'mean girl' by many fans.
She was then dumped from the Villa on Tuesday, after her partner Taylor chose to re-couple with New South Wales content creator Em Miguel Leigh.
'Obviously the person that I had the most connection with was Taylor but he chose Em after they went on a date and I didn't speak to him at all,' Eilisha explained in her exit interview.
'We were both after the same guy but she was being snakey and she won. Good girl, good on her.'
After causing a stir by saying she was jetting off to LA after her exit, Eilisha took to Instagram on Wednesday to reflect on her journey on the reality TV show.

'It's been a crazy journey but I'm so grateful that I was able to be a part of this incredible opportunity with incredible people,' she posted.
'I'll never forget the memories I made this summer. As someone with ADHD, I'm incredibly proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing this experience head-on.
'A lot happens in a day and only 45 minutes of that is shown on the show but I know I will remember every second of it.
'I didn't fall in love which is disappointing but the friendships I made along the way make up for it.
'Last but not least, thank you to everyone who's supported me on my journey and shown love – it truly means the world! Can't wait to see what's next.'
