On season 10 of Love Is Blind—which hit Netflix Feb. 11—Elissa Finley was rushed to the hospital after putting nail glue in her eye, thinking it was eye drops.

Elissa Finley was almost blinded on her search for love.
The Love Is Blind contestant experienced a frightening health scare on season 10 of the Netflix show—out Feb. 11—as she was seen rushing into the women's lounge shouting, "Oh my god! What do I do? F--k!"
"I know, you’re scared right now," a producer told her offscreen, as a crew member advised, "We’re going to have to send you out."
It turned out that Elissa, 38, had accidentally put nail glue in her eyes, thinking it was eye drops, leading her to be rushed to the hospital.
She returned in episode two to continue her time on the dating show, telling her female costars, "I missed you all so much."
Elissa—who works as a nurse in Ohio—then detailed what happened during the medical emergency, saying, "I go in and there’s a little bottle there, and I wanted to put eye drops in my eye. It was nail glue."
"I was scared," she continued. "I thought I was gonna lose sight. Nail glue, what?!"
Elissa explained that her eyesight became blurry and "still hurts a little bit" even after treatment.
"When we got to the hospital, they hooked up an IV bag with tubing and just sat here and flushed my eye," she said. "The guy was getting the glue out. It was so awful. I can’t believe I did that."
But the ordeal didn't dampen her spirits. After a costar joked that she's really embracing the spirit of Love Is Blind with her vision issues, Elissa quipped, "I’m really committing."

Indeed, Elissa shared that she's looking for the real deal on the show.
“They want to take me home but not take me home to mama," she told Netflix of her past dating experience. "I’m just excited about going to the grocery store and cooking together, and then sitting down and watching our favorite show."
